@@thisissostupidliterallywhy not technically. They dissolved his full-time contract for a part-time contract. The entertainment industry is a bit different from general business, but they basically demoted him.
Ultimately, this is great for Matt. He would never leave Achievement Hunter or Rooster Teeth unless forced to. And since they're slowly crumbling, it's better for Matt to be forced out and give him the opportunity to further commit to streaming, which has been working well for him.
I love how Murder-happy Alfredo was; whether if it was indirectly, vengfully, and verbally with "I knew I'd trigger you nerds."
Man, this reminds me how much I used to love YDYD. Time to go watch the first four.

When the "Best Bits" is longer than any single episode, there's a problem
This series was the nail in the AH coffin for me, so we probably agree in principle, but I don't understand your point. A "best bits" is usually longer than a single episode. The compilations for previous YDYD seasons were all longer than an average single episode with the exception of YDYD1. MassacreMan decided on the length of the compilation, and only his editing choices would have made it longer or shorter.
When the compilation video is not even an hour long. At least its longer than the actual videos smh
I was expecting a 2 seconds video, considering the content it's highlighting.

Even though it was the weakest YDYD but it still had it's enjoyable moments.
I love your compilations, I wish whoever AH's current editor is didn't heavily edit their stuff. I can go without their music additions honestly, especially those dramatic ones.
I don't mind it if it is once or twice, but ten times is when it really gets fatiguing.
@@MassacreMan101 same for me. once in a while, it can actually be hilarious. but sometimes it can be overwhelming for sure. Keep up the fantastic work though, you've always done an amazing job! I always look forward to your comps

@@uh-ooooh it’s like the song Ride the Fire from Guilty Gear. It’s an AWESOME song for when it’s Go Time, but when spammed it loses its impact.
A great Best Bits video, Massacreman, absolutely excellent work! Sadly, this was easily the weakest YDYD season, but considering how the other seasons were, that's not as impactful a statement as it would first appear. Really it all started on a terribly wrong foot with the first episode's editing being too much. I give them credit for trying something new, but that was very much the wrong choice, which they corrected. And Matt was a humongous bright spot in the series, whether he was being helpful or just screwing with people. I had personal issues with how some members were playing, both new and old, but those are of course personal preference. And I have to say, I personally am saddened by how exceedingly negative the YT and RT-site comments got. Here's hoping that whenever they do the next YDYD, in whatever game they decide to do it in, that it's a better time for both cast and viewer alike.

All that was needed to make this series just as good as the others, just make the videos longer, but otherwise, it still had its moments
Quality > Quantity. If it was the old crew, they can do a 2 hour video I wouldn’t care because the convos they have is wholesome.

I am SO glad they’re finally addressing Lindsay not eating food, like, ever. They’re a cool person, but that’s something that’s pissed me off for the LONGEST time.
Why would this warrant being "pissed off?" That's a trivial thing to judge someone for, or to cause such a reaction. If I found myself reacting that way, I'd be concerned.

I will forever be amazed at how they fight endermen out in the open and always forget that endermen are one of the most damaging mobs in the game. Certainly the most common one you encounter at least.

I have nothing against her and I’m sure she’s lovely, but ky might be the first edition to achievement hunter that I did not enjoy. I don’t know maybe it’s her dynamic, doesn’t really fit well with achievement hunter in my opinion. But to be fair also happened to be around the same time I stopped watching anyways.
