great video, thanks to the author! you look not at the ideal cyborgs from the World Cup, but at living people and you understand that you can do the same... although I still won’t be able to make a decent turn on the Masters track...
Hi, thank you soooo much for your comment. I love it. Its exactly why I post videos of Masters racing and training. I want to show that "anyone" and pursue ski-racing. Cheers, Tom
Yes I will! Its just that we have been training and racing for a good part of the winter and there has been simply no time. Many videos in the works. Wait for it :)
A “mistake” I'm noticing here a lot is how many skiers make a V shape with the skis in the turn instead of having them parallel. Do you have any advice on what causes it and how to fix it? I think this topic would make a very insightful video on your channel. Thanks for all the content, you are the best.
Thanks for the tip zyumbik. Everyone replied here is correct. Racing prepared track, in some spots very icy. One gentleman (former WC racer) broke his arm as he crashed. Temp -30. Oldest skier 87 years old, probably learned the pre old way :)
Thanks for watching the video. Since this is a Masters WC race there are different series for men and women with 5 years increments. So no-one won the race per say, just bunch of winners each age series. Fastest racer was BIB 43 @ 14:47 in the video. Second fastest was Bib 68, a former top WC racer. However, some of the fore runners were faster. Here are the results: www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=MA&raceid=4164

Thanks for the content! Would you post more carving tutorials in the future?

Probably it was because was very cold and ice was so hard that it was difficult to get very stable outside leg pressure
Half of the skiers are like +45 years old. Learned the old way back in days
