This still gets me despite having watched it at least a dozen times. Peter Parker's grief is so palpable, and Pepper's strength amid her loss is awesome. The funeral scene at the river is amazing.
I never ever cried in a movie theatre before, but this whole scene... I cried like I could never stop. And the funeral at the lake was just fuel to fire.
Same that's only because I'm too young to have seen the Ewok death in theaters.
When I first watched this movie, Tony's death really HIT me... I ugly cried for like 10 minutes and I couldn't calm down. I shouldn't have been on my own at the time.
What always gets me is when Peter starts to break down and says, "You did it, Sir.. you did it.."
Also Cap and Thor. You could see they were grieving watching their brother die
When Tony died he took with him the whole MCU.
Yep. That was the point where Disney started turning the MCU into the M-She-U and also flushed continuity of story-lines down the toilet.

Not sure for every one but I grew up with him being iron man and I dont think any one can replace him as iron man.
It's hard to imagine now, but nobody really gave a crap about Iron Man before RDJ. I doubt a lot of mainstream people would even have been able to identify the character or have known the name (they'd probably be more likely to think of the Black Sabbath song). Even Marvel Comics fans didn't much care for him at that point; he was second-tier, at best. That's part of the reason Marvel picked him to be the first movie in the MCU; they were still finding their feet, so, if it went badly, no big loss. Ditto with Thor. It wasn't until the third movie that they started using a character over whom there might be some serious fan backlash if they screwed it up, that being Captain America.
It will be at least a generation before they'll be able to introduce a new Tony Stark, if that's ever attempted. It would be like trying to have someone other than Ryan Reynolds play Deadpool, or having a Wolverine that isn't Hugh Jackman. Come to think of it, casting in the MCU has been almost universally stellar, which is true of most aspects of their work.
People are going to be studying Kevin Feige's masterwork for some time. Again, it's hard to imagine today, but there was no such thing as a "cinematic universe" before Feige.

That final suit was not his best but it was designed to harness the power of the stones and use them if necessary. He knew he may have to sacrifice his own life to save the lives of his friends and the rest of the universe. That’s what makes him the greatest avenger ever.

Gotta remember that the Gauntlet this past-Thanos stole was built by Rocket, Tony, and Banner based on Stark nanotech, ie. exactly the same stuff that makes-up Iron Man's current suit. It makes sense, then, that Tony would be able to exercise a lot of control over the Gauntlet, especially via his latest armor.
Most of these reactors should understand that Iron Man just removed the Infinity Stones from the Nano Gauntlet. He didn't switch gauntlets because both that and his suit are made of nanotechnology. Anyway, this moment still shatters my heart beyond repair.
This scene always gets me. 10 times in and 10 times I shed tears over Tony’s death

Tony proved Cap wrong in the end.
This movie and IW were emotional rollercoasters, I still remember the cinema was screaming yelling with excitement at the Avengers Assemble scene where everyone appears and the battle begins, but during this scene the cinema was completely silent other than a few sobs here and there. This scene was one of the very few scenes that made me tear up.
This movie was incredible.
Love him or hate him Tony became the heart and soul of the Avengers after Agent Coulson die in the first Avengers movie

It was a classic moment what I didn't like was Thanos sitting there waiting for the inevitable they should of make Thanos dive towards Ironman after he noticed the stones were not with him so he runs trying to stop Tony from snapping his gauntlet and before he gets there he turns to dust. The end

I think its funny how people record themselves crying to get views. Its a movie about superheroes and aliens people. It isnt real. It isnt historical. Its just an adventure story. Lol

The fact that the endgame rhodey was a skrull…
Still no proof of that and I doubt it's true. Rhodey only acted differently starting in Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
So why people are crying over the character ? Is it because they love him and got used to him for many years or because there’s no more movies ?
he is the major reason this movie franchise kicked off. his acting spans over a decade as this character and each time he sells it as his character. thus people believe it is him, and we have grown attached to him. to see him die, a piece of our heart goes with him

Hated this scene because it suddenly was about peter parkers grief. Gosh, tonys wife was right there. The scene shouldve been made with peter greiving in the background. It was just weird and spoiled it for me.
The only reason Tony "decided" to help was because of peter..as he looks at Peter's picture before he started tinkering with time travel and Tony was Peter's father figure after already having dealt with uncle Ben's death up close and personal which wasn't in this version of Spiderman but has been throughout his history. For most his grief was a catalyst for how serious it was. Also Tony watched Peter turn to dust in his arms in infinity war and now is reversed.
