Don "Red" Barry, whom I think is the greatest cowboy that still goes unappreciated. Barry said that when he first met the great Muhammed Ali, Ali said, "Don "Red" Barry, the only White cowboy I ever loved." Barry said he held those words as a great compliment.

thanks very much for a red barry -western i had never found!!! I have now seen 28 of red barry's 37 b-westerns. The 9 I have not seen are KANSAS CYCLONE 1941, THE APACHE KID 1941, A MISSOURI OUTLAW 1941, ARIZONA TERRORS 1942, OUTLAWS OF PINE RIDGE 1942, SUNDOWN KID 1942, BLACK HILLS EXPRESS 1943, RED DESERT 1949, BORDER RANGERS 1950 in case you can find any of these.

Guessing filmed back side of Hollywood hills where these great rocks still are. City maybe where the Mansion family lived near the end. Place burned down after brush-fires late 70s I recall

Couple of minutes in & already incorrect.Frank & Annie had one son.And Frank was always religious.Used to get on the others nerves sometimes.Quoting Bible & Shakespeare.I do wish they wouldnt embroider.People like the James & Youngers & Billy Bonney dont need to b embroidered.Their true stories are fascinating enough.

No film has ever been totally factual. Even when they are said to be. King of kings, Erin Brokovich and Pearl Harbor are facts, widely stretched in films.
Its called entertainment!

Pretty good western .. Wally Vernon was a bit annoying.
Too many westerns had either a looney sidekick or an irascible cook. Appealing to the women I think.
