  • Recently, I had a doctor's appointment. I called and confirmed the time and date. When I arrived, there was NO ONE at the office. I called and found out I was told the wrong date. I then proceeded to cancel the appointment because I could not make the new appointment date. And thus began a very long series of phone calls to cancel the doctor's visit. #lifewithavent #fridayfunny #doctorsvisit

What a great reenactment of one of the many foibles of life that face us all, doctor appointment mix-ups. I enjoyed the show you should get an award for it. These days with multiple offices and an ever-changing staff at some of these offices these things are sure to happen. Glad you are all reset and rescheduled. Wishing You The Best,Take Care, God Bless Russ

@@meadow6013 Thank you for the information. The Trilogy 100, 200 and 202 will be serviced until Dec 2025. The Trilogy Evo and EV300 will be serviced until Jan 2029.
I was alerted of this information back in January. I should have made a video then, but I did not think to do so. Perhaps, if I have the energy, I will make a video about it soon and release it in the near future. Thank you for thinking of me and letting me know. I always appreciate that.

Hello. Thank you for sharing some of your story with me. i am sorry to hear about the hiccups. Yes, I have heard of hiccups lasting for months and even years. Hiccups are caused by repeated spasms of the diaphragm. If your husband has a muscle disease, a nerve disease or a neuromuscular disease, this may be contributing to the hiccups.
There are other medical conditions which also can cause hiccups such as disorders of the stomach or esophagus, hepatitis, pancreatitis, stroke, bowel disease, low carbon dioxide levels and pleurisy of the diaphragm as well as others.
Also, I do not know what medications he may be taking. Certain drugs such as benzodiazepines and steroids can cause hiccups. (If your husband is taking medication, you can do an online search. Type in the name of the medicine and the word "hiccups". See if any of the drugs might have hiccups as a side effect.)
There are medicines which may stop the hiccups. These include gabapentin, baclofen and chlorpromazine.
All this should be discussed with his medical provider. He/she should be able to figure out why your husband is getting hiccups. Depending on his medical issues and current medications, your husband may be able to find a cure (such as stopping a drug which is causing the hiccups) or may be able get a medicine to take when he gets hiccups (or to take daily to prevent hiccups.).
Thank you for all your kind words. I really appreciate them. I hope everything goes well for you, your husband and your family.

Hello My Dear and Precious Friend Make sure that you do a follow up to this video I want to know what happens when the Doctor sees you. I would tell the Doctor that his Staff schedule you for that day and they made the error and you showed up and No One was there that is what I would say to him. I Hope when you see the Doctor it goes well for you. I really like all of your experssions and how you were talking to the Doctor's Staff.
