IMO, PoE is not a party friendly game. The amount of preparation prior to league start (of you wanna play "right), get a new layer when you want to play with friends, 'cause build must be "compatible" somehow. We all know the auramancer needed, but, it's hard to level it when no friends can help you, so you need to coordinate hours of play. Add the "portals" problem, the "i can run this maps but my friend can't", level of skills, and it all add to the not-fun game when co-op. This season was the first that i tried the "party" campaign running, and while i admit is faster that running solo (for someone that's it's terrible finishing fast the campaign... or maps), it still has many problems and difficulties for new players (like, if you are not in the boss instance when killed, it doesn't count for you, and need to open a new map instance, running it all over again).. This is the biggest problem i got when i try to introduce the game to friends and new players: this is not an easy game to party play, and forget about something like a PUG like any other mmorpg.
I was not the guy doing mf or juiced map farming in the first place, and somehow, this league makes expedition very lucrative for me with Rog + Recombination.
You should definitely reconsider the mirror shard. It's way better to invest that into character power or a strategy so that you can see bigger gains sooner rather than later, you'll be able to invest into more appreciating assets this way. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck this league after that unfortunate league start.
For everyone who watches this without seeing the other video, he regretted going jungle valley and blue altars, instead he recommends dunes and red altars

What I don't get, apperently everyone is poor right now, but for some reason, people can affort to pay dozens of divines for my essence spammed gear. I seriously don't understand how that works. If everyone is poor, me as a person who makes their most money with crafting shouldn't make bank on very mid items.
There are plenty of ways to generate currency still (I got 4 raw divs just from boats in the past day) but the traditional "juice maps, kill monsters, get loot" system is mostly dead outside of tile based loot (legion) or T17s. So the floor for comfortable currency farming is just higher/more specialized.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Hate to break it to you but just 117% fire res on a ring isn't really build enabling. The life regen is nice but if that's your goal you're better off just life/ES stacking on an inquisitor and double dipping the regen stat. It's effectively a single stat item and that stat alone really isn't anything to build around. Even if the regen were doubled I wouldn't find it overly interesting.
@@subtractem Thanks for the response! So already have a super endgame build… not really something you can get with out having a lot of currency to begin with. Of course you can’t get those build with normal RNG.
oh you are rich to my standards :( My budget the last 10 leagues has been ~3 div ( raw drop that is ) I wish there was a strat for players that take 1- 2 weeks to get to red maps. Play 2 - 3 hours a day except weekends.
2-3 hrs a day is quite a lot of time to earn much more than that. You just have to learn ways to play more efficiently with the time you have. Obviously it’s easier said than done, but there is so much content out there to guide you along the way. Above all else, just make sure you’re having fun while playing
What's the point, then I will play a single player game. I don't understand this type of comments, for me and for a lot of people, the majority, probably 80%+ play trade, the fun thing about the game is the trade, without trade there no motivation for nothing.
I've run Legion a few leagues ago and was in the same boat. Still not quite sure what to look for to be honest but I didn't make nothing from it. It would be cool if someone could break down how exactly your supposed to get 100's of Div from it in a short amount of time though. I find it hard to believe you are making it all from incubators unless your moving *ungodly* fast.
@vXFiddlerXv i don't think anyone is making 100s of divs from legion in a short time. I think Snoo did a video this league of his first 100 legion farms and was pulling somewhere around 7d/ hour
Sorry for your struggle this league boss, I'm ssf and doing pretty well, but really struggling to get ANY fractures this league. Any suggestions for SSF to find fracs this league?
Yeah! we farmed a ton of fractures actually early on. You want to use the the Horned Scarab of Awakening with the Imbued Anarchy craft on the map so Rogue Exiles drop fractures 20% of the time. Combo that with as much Anarchy stuff as you can and hundreds of fractures drop per map. Might be tough to get that scarab in SSF but if you get one make sure you have an Anarchy tree ready to go for it!
Hmm, during my teams test with fractured farming with imbued we were maybe getting 1 fractured drop explosion per 2 maps. The 20% was definitely not working for us 😂. I think we ran close to 8 maps with the strat? Might just be super unlucky but the drops are feeling definitely feeling really weird for me
@@subtractem think its better to go 4x4extra rogue scarabs or 2x4extra rogues plus the pairs and giant scarabs? I only got one awaking...lol. Thanks btw!

If you don't stream the game, what did you do with your life? your actual life
I’ve been playing PoE off & on since Open Beta. While it is true that *GGG does not respect your time* (they ALWAYS nerf builds) or wrists (PoE gave me Carpal Tunnel) there ARE some counterpoints: 1. *Play standard.* Core mechanics are stable and well understood at this point.
3. Knowledge & Execution is 99% of the game. _How do you think streamers are able to get a mage blood by DAY 2 of every new league??_ While Betrayal is still a complete clüsterfück take time to LEARN the game mechanics, pick a good league starter build, and *stop wasting time* picking up sh!t that isn’t valuable.
I escaped ingame poverty by not playing the league. I dont like the current state of a game so i just decided to not participate and tbh, im not sad i dont have divines anymore. Works 100perc
What the actual fk dude This feels so detached from reality. Im sure i'm speaking for like half the playerbase here, perhaps more, but, at the end you said "trying to get 100div in 4 days" ... I havent even seen 100d at the same time, and seems to me thats a reasonable, even low expectation. Is this sht for real? who is even getting that far? like the top 5% of players? Holy shit, I just cant follow this content, makes no sense to me :s And you feel frustrated cause you had a scuffed league start? Are all my leagues scuffed then? shit.
On day 5 of a league having 23 divines as a full time content creator is very bad. For my own personal standards I usually aim to have about 100 divines by this point. This is easily achievable doing not much more than just expedition and smart market trading. For a casual player 23 divines would be a nice one week achievement. For me it's very bad. It's all relative to the player and time invested.
I made 80-90 divines just doing harvest and blue mapping in week one. And this is my third league ever and my last league was ancestral league. This man is kinda broke if he made ~25% of what I made and his hands hurt. Especially if he had to coordinate with others to play all this time. Now I have been playing full time as well, but I’ve been taking long breaks as well. Nothing hurts

Im still on the side of a newer player and haven't tried it yet. From my understanding its cheap to get going. Id like to try it out this league so just curious if there was a reason other than if you and stream finds it boring.
Could be second but I’m excited to learn sanctum but I haven’t started I’d probably be a month or two late 😢priorities.
sub gets to feel like us for a couple days I got a veiled orb and 2 divine in my stash rn hopefully my stonks on the veiled will buy my 6 link
So already have a super endgame build… not really something you can get with out having a lot of currency to begin with. Of course you can’t get those build with normal RNG.
Huh? I put the build together with the 3.5 divines I showed in the video and farmed 100d with it.
"Loot isn't feeling good right now."
Meanwhile me, who dropped an Enlighten Support from a random Expedition mob: 👁️👄👁️
oh you are rich to my standards :( My budget the last 10 leagues has been ~3 div ( raw drop that is )
I wish there was a strat for players that take 1- 2 weeks to get to red maps.
@@McGirthius fun is the part. Ya i may play more or less. I usually lose track of time 😔. I'm just getting into yellow maps(started on launch day).
Hey, this is exactly what im doing right now!
As an American, pumping that oil in blight maps speaks to my soul.
How to escape: Play SSF
What's the point, then I will play a single player game.
I don't understand this type of comments, for me and for a lot of people, the majority, probably 80%+ play trade, the fun thing about the game is the trade, without trade there no motivation for nothing.

sorry may i know why legion is a good way to farm currency?
What exactly you looking for if you farm legion?
mostly the incubators that provide good rewards (e.g., currency and divination cards).
@@adalos1953 I'll go check that out! It sounds a bit more in line with what I was experiencing.
I’m always poor. My Sympathy for steamers feeling poor is not strong. But still love the content.
If you are poor than what are me with my first div on day6 and its from leag mech...
Subscribing because you are handsome.
lol welcome to a newbie or casual Poe player !
Spoiler: it's sanctum
has more currency than all my leagues combined, considers it poverty
Morning
How did you put this build together and still have 3 divines and 100c? Cant explain that!
Thanks btw!
You definitely were missing something, we had 4+ explosions per map. We each had full inventories of good fractures every single map.
@@subtractem maybe, we ran the same atlas tree as 3.24 fractured rogue farming with every rogue and ritual point on the atlas and 1x imbued, 3x anarchy, 1x giga we just couldn’t get anything. Ruckus never activated for us either haha.
The league you choose to do group play is the worst league to do group play. Bad luck.
This game will make you poor IRL seriously, having a full time job and have to learn about new mechanic is very tiring, either you put tons of hours for profit to put on your build you always get fucked, seeing streamer and exploiter playing this all day just makes you feel bad. If you don't stream the game, what did you do with your life? your actual life
I’ve been playing PoE off & on since Open Beta. While it is true that *GGG does not respect your time* (they ALWAYS nerf builds) or wrists (PoE gave me Carpal Tunnel) there ARE some counterpoints:
1. *Play standard.* Core mechanics are stable and well understood at this point.
2. Git gud - follow a build guide EXACTLY until you grok the skill & atlas tree.
3. Knowledge & Execution is 99% of the game. _How do you think streamers are able to get a mage blood by DAY 2 of every new league??_
While Betrayal is still a complete clüsterfück take time to LEARN the game mechanics, pick a good league starter build, and *stop wasting time* picking up sh!t that isn’t valuable.
4. *STOP comparing yourself* to no life streamers. They are living rent free in your head.
5. *Enjoy the journey* instead of obsessing over the destination.
I’m glad loots hard to get. Makes the game more fun.
This league is the worst
I escaped ingame poverty by not playing the league.
I dont like the current state of a game so i just decided to not participate and tbh, im not sad i dont have divines anymore. Works 100perc
I find it hard to believe that group play is not profitable, what about Empy? He always does group play and they print mirrors
He abandoned the group play as well
ruclips.net/video/vXC9aMrQjwc/видео.html
Subtractem is saying this because he tested group play (THIS LEAGUE, prior leagues are not relevant to his current stance on this) with Empy.
What the actual fk dude
This feels so detached from reality.
Holy shit, I just cant follow this content, makes no sense to me :s
And you feel frustrated cause you had a scuffed league start? Are all my leagues scuffed then? shit.
just need to get better at making money, subs been playing from beta or some shi
Well you gotta learn to walk before you can run, so yea this video prob isn't for you.
Do you set up a dedicated farm?
@@alexw.2988 Na definitely not if a basic legion strat is blowing this guys mind
Bro it's not hard lmao. It just takes time and experience.
1 mirror shard, 3 Devine's and 100 Chaos is poor? You are like the couple that makes 100,000.00 a year complaining about how broke they are. Lol.
Serves you right starting group play. Pfft. I remember when this used to be a casual dads poe channel.
A true casual dad wouldn't gloat at the misfortune of others
