LMS at the Border Battle XC Frost Buster 5/5&5/6/2024

In case you missed it! Here is some footage from the Frost Buster, Border Battle Xc's opening round. We pulled in Saturday morning in time to check out the juniors and get in position to watch a packed C class 👌 Not only was this the first event of the season, its was a first for Appleton, MN and the Appleton OHV park. The community presence was strong with over 1000 spectators coming out to watch Saturday alone. We personally spoke with a number of folks from the area. All were extremely excited to see the even go on and be a part of the action. Many people volunteered their time to help police the course helping juniors who might be struggling and fixing ribbons and signs when needed. Sunday we took to the course and what a blast it was. We got a little bit of everything the place had to offer. Black dirt and a flowing moto track. Sandy whoops bowls and turns. Gravel with some enduro cross thrown in. The weather leading into the weekend couldn't have been better. They recieved quite a bit of rain which was actually handled really well. Though it was wet and muddy in spots, it just added to the challenge of the ride.
Travis and LJ were the first out for the day starting at 10am. Connor and Adam headed out about 130pm. The course got rough and really square edged in the afternoon forcing some new lines and laser focus. All in all the results show room for improvement. But, the dust is shook off and we are even more excited for the remainder of the season.
