Northern Michigan. We do mini day trips here. Lighthouses, trails to walk,little towns to explore,beach glass and Petoskey stone searching,lake side concerts......so many choices here. I love your new bike Megan.

We were in Lancaster county last night for a Sights and Sound production of David and dinner at the Shady Maple. It was my first time visiting and it was beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Next time!

We have an electric cargo bike. It can fit 3 kids on the back (or two kid seats). If you don't have kids back there it can haul up to 400 lbs. It's basically a minivan on two wheels. I use for grocery shopping and used to use it for the school run (we homeschool now), it allowed us to stay a one car family. I love my bike!
As a fellow Christian RUclipsr who lives just outside of Lancaster county (I live in Dauphin county and work in Lancaster city!), this was so much fun to watch as I saw a lot of familiar shots. We love the river trail and white cliffs of conoy too! And Calico Creek is one of my favorite shops. I agree; this area is so magical in the summer 💛

It is so much fun to see the various places around your county. What a wonderful, wholesome place to raise a family. I grew up in a very small town, and I yearn to return to live there someday. I didn't entirely appreciate the beauty and simplicity of that rural place while I was growing up in it. Anyway, thank you so much for the tour!
Enjoyed fishing at Spring Side Trout farm with our family! Thank you so much for the recommendation. Our 4 year old ended up catching 5 trout within 30 minutes and was delighted.
My hubby has an Aventon ebike as well! We have a lot of hills in our town, so a regular bike wasn’t cutting it. Now he can bike to work in nice weather which will help conserve gas during these crazy times! Miller in his overalls with no shirt was just the cutest thing!! 😍
My parents had a slide picture of my brother sitting on one of the boulders in the middle of the Susquehanna River back in the 1960s when the river was so low it was like a small stream - and I remember when the fish farm was a fish hatchery - we always had great luck using canned corn when we went fishing at my grandfather's farm in Spring Garden -Definately try Lapp Valley Farms ice cream!!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked Summers can be pretty awful actually. Temps regularly in the high 90's with humidity levels high enough to put our heat index a few degrees north of 100.
We won't have a summer vacation this year but we'll do daily trips as much as we can take off. One day every 2 weeks or so. There is so much to do during the summer and we are blessed to live in this country.
Thank you for sharing your staycation with me! I love that you and Josh make such a great team parenting. I went fishing with my dad about four times as a kid. I am not a person who remembers a lot from my childhood, but I do remember the fishing days and the one day he took me to DQ for ice cream. You are making lifetime memories with your kids. Miller and his beautiful eyes and smile just lighten anyone's day. I love the sweetness your older two share. I love the review you and Josh did on the E-bike. My husband is a bicycle commuter at 58 and has talked about getting an E-bike. He rides 29 miles one way. Our daughter is looking to do the same thing. Have a great weekend!

Such a fun video! Staycations are awesome. We live in Western PA in Venango County and we're camping at Two Mile Run County park. Campsites are private and spacious and there's a lake for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and trails for hiking, horseback riding, and biking. Nice recreational area.

We live in the country. About 40 miles west of Indy Where the 500 race on Memorial weekend runs. 15 miles north is home of the book author of Ben Hur & the only rotary jail museum that still operates the rotary cell on Labor Day Weekend.
Such fun adventures! I loved it all! That shop was awesome, it was very "you"☺️ I am in north western Illinois. Something maybe unusual, that is near me, is a llama 🦙 farm! In the summer they have llama/ alpaca "beach" parties. There is a sand area near a pond, music, puppet shows, food truck and fiber crafts.

We have always loved the Lancaster area. When we lived in Upper Delaware we were always up in the Strasberg, Bird in Hand, Honey Brook area. Our kids loved the area and we camped up there all the time. Since we retired and moved to New Jersey seven years ago we hadn’t been there. But next month we are going back up there for a few days vacation and can’t wait. We have added the town of Lititz to our list of towns to visit. Watching your video brought back memories of the area and now I can’t wait to go. Your children are so sweet and Miller looks just like his Daddy.
Dear Megan, love the little adventures of your family. The Olive spoon is really beautiful. As marinated Olives are Stored in oil, you can get one or two Olives out and drain the oil through the holes at the same time 😉 I like the electric bike from my mother in law. It's already some years old, so it's quite loud on the Higher assistance and you always have to pedal. If you stop to pedal the electric assistance stops immediately to make sure you're always working while using it 😂 Really love the views in Lancaster County. All the Mennonites and espacially Amish. Catching up on my RUclips, after spending a week in Hershey, PA. We were lucky enough to hop over to Lancaster to see David at Sight and Sound :) . Walked a few shops and just enjoyed the country . Thought of you during lol .

I loved this vlog! We actually take our kids to a spring-fed trout farm when we vacation in the smoky mountains. They have a blast and the fish is delicious (that’s saying a lot because I am not a fish lover).

Great ideas for anyone wanting to visit your area. I am from south central Ky anyone passing though should be sure and visit slake Cumberland especially with Wolfcreek Damn and the fish hatchery.
We were just at Cocalico (same store!) last week! I would have cracked up if I ran into you! My daughter bought a really nicely scented candle and I noticed their furniture is so reasonably priced. My favorite time to go is fall and Christmas. I cannot control myself in there during those times!!!
I really like the river tour here in down town chicago. It starts kinda by navy pier and the other end is what is called china town i love to go there if for no other reason than to get fortuna ccookies and almond cookies then you take boat back to navy pier . lots of tall buildings to see. my oldest daughter works at the westin hotel. she really likes it there. its next to the trunp tower hotel
Neverrrrrr heard of a fish farm!!! Looooooved this whole video though!!! Tonto Natural forest and Williams AZ ITS A small town with a deer farm, Bearizona, mountain sledding, mountain coaster, zip lining and of course the Grand Canyon railway!!!

Looks like a fun staycation. I’ve hiked the NorthWest River trail numerous times. My husband and I like hiking it on Sunday afternoons.

I loved this vlog, so much fun! We are from the suburbs of Baltimore, MD and have been to Lancaster several times.
We have always loved the Lancaster area. When we lived in Upper Delaware we were always up in the Strasberg, Bird in Hand, Honey Brook area. Our kids loved the area and we camped up there all the time. Since we retired and moved to New Jersey seven years ago we hadn’t been there. But next month we are going back up there for a few days vacation and can’t wait. We have added the town of Lititz to our list of towns to visit. Watching your video brought back memories of the area and now I can’t wait to go. Your children are so sweet and Miller looks just like his Daddy.
Dear Megan, love the little adventures of your family. The Olive spoon is really beautiful. As marinated Olives are Stored in oil, you can get one or two Olives out and drain the oil through the holes at the same time 😉 I like the electric bike from my mother in law. It's already some years old, so it's quite loud on the Higher assistance and you always have to pedal. If you stop to pedal the electric assistance stops immediately to make sure you're always working while using it 😂 Really love the views in Lancaster County. All the Mennonites and espacially Amish. Such another way of living compared to ours but also fascinating for me to see. Regards from Germany Stephanie

I tried it a few times as I was checking to see if you had a discount 😄 I’ve been researching ebikes for over a year and just couldn’t decide... after watching your JOY of riding I bought the Pace 500!!!! I am so excited to get it!!! I currently ride a Cannondale Hybrid and love riding the rail trails.

You showed me a new place which was the bike trail. Friends coming this Fall and may have to take them there. I pass that trout farm every Tuesday when I'm picking up products for my shop here in VA. I also love Lapps and can't wait for their new facility to open with Emmas Popcorn. Thanks for showing the beauty of Lancaster and fun places to go. Catching up on my RUclips, after spending a week in Hershey, PA. We were lucky enough to hop over to Lancaster to see David at Sight and Sound :) . Walked a few shops and just enjoyed the country . Thought of you during lol .

Had to smile at your delight with the bike! Here in Ohio we call them ebikes (e not for electric but easy lol) and the regular ones are "puff" bikes.

I loved this vlog! We actually take our kids to a spring-fed trout farm when we vacation in the smoky mountains. They have a blast and the fish is delicious (that’s saying a lot because I am not a fish lover).

Great ideas for anyone wanting to visit your area. I am from south central Ky anyone passing though should be sure and visit slake Cumberland especially with Wolfcreek Damn and the fish hatchery.
We were just at Cocalico (same store!) last week! I would have cracked up if I ran into you! My daughter bought a really nicely scented candle and I noticed their furniture is so reasonably priced. My favorite time to go is fall and Christmas. I cannot control myself in there during those times!!!

I really like the river tour here in down town chicago. It starts kinda by navy pier and the other end is what is called china town i love to go there if for no other reason than to get fortuna ccookies and almond cookies then you take boat back to navy pier . lots of tall buildings to see. my oldest daughter works at the westin hotel. she really likes it there. its next to the trunp tower hotel
Neverrrrrr heard of a fish farm!!! Looooooved this whole video though!!! Tonto Natural forest and Williams AZ ITS A small town with a deer farm, Bearizona, mountain sledding, mountain coaster, zip lining and of course the Grand Canyon railway!!!
