He didn’t win a moment of that fight right up until he got that right. It’s almost sickening to watch sometimes bc most of us know Luis Ortiz is a better boxer from a boxing perspective. Wilders power is prolly the best the sport has ever seen. And that includes mike Tyson.

    Ortiz is good...but to beat Wilder you dont have to only be tough, you have to be smart. Ortiz should have known what Wilder wanted to do...ie one punch knock out...and frustrate that idea. Ortiz needed to be on the lookout, and needed to be thinking ALL the time, all twelve rounds. But he lost focus later on, and paid the price. And I am surprised that Ortiz showed so little respect for Wilder right hand, that he refused to be cautious and defensive.

    Ortiz did the same mistake he has done last time! He wrongly assumed that it was possible just to cover up his head against Wilder's straight right without moving his head or even ducking.

      Twilight 8368 Now other heavyweights may want to fight Ortiz probably because he is slow and his chin is getting worse, but they won't do it anyway since it's a high risk and low paid fight.

Any other heavyweight is gonna struggle fighting him! Respect to Ortiz and respect to Wilder for being willing to fight TOP HEAVY WEIGHTS! Everybody else SCARED!!!

    Nothing but love and respect for ortiz. No wonder when WBC asked whyte to face ortiz for the mandatory position before the first fight and after the first fight eddie said no way hes putting his fighter in a dangerous fight and not to mention how again he was denied a chance with AJ after signing with matchroom winning all fights then Eddie getting rid of him when he was due to face AJ. He deserves another title shot against Ruiz or AJ. Mad respect to ortiz

    Referee did him no favours by counting him out so quickly with a few seconds left of the round. He could have recovered. Home town favouritism.

      @@therealc.t.7085 In case your unaware Deonty Wilder is American and the fight was in America, hence some favouritism. Anthony Joshua was given 16 seconds when he was dropped by Ruiz, this Ref couldn't give Ortiz 2 seconds? Even Ortiz post fight complained about the Ref.

    • @therealc.t.7085
      @therealc.t.7085 5 лет назад

      Wahied Majid it wasn’t a fast count. Ortiz was up at 9 but he had wobbly legs. Had nothing to do with him being American.
