Tbh we don’t want to lie and say we know a solution for the barking because our Shihpoo doesn’t bark often but every dog isn’t the same . I’ll say try playing with your dog to get him tired or just try with treats . Praise him when you tell him to be quiet . With potty training you just have to take your puppy out every hour and praise him once they use the bathroom outside that’s the best way
@@Beautybycassandra116 I finally got the potty training down with my pup by taking him out every 2 hrs. Every event ie. After he eats, after he sleeps, after play but the general rule for me was 2 hrs. Now he's 5 months he naturally just realized that peeing outside was the proper thing to do and not in the house (also I would give him treats if he did it outside the house and no treats when inside). Mind you, I was raising 2 pups at once and they both learned this way. Good luck!!!
@@Beautybycassandra116 also I wanted to add that the frequency is required because their bladder is not fully developed at that age so they can't hold their pee very long but over time they can hold it for longer.
We tried leaving him at him one time and it didn’t go well so we just don’t leave him alone ever we have close relatives watch him when we can’t but we plan on buying another dog one day so that he can have a friend to play with while we are gone
Honestly it just depends on the dog because our shihpoo doesn’t bark a lot like how other shihpoos do. So I can’t say yes or no to that question and also my dog is active but I have seen other shihpoos not so like I said it just depends on the puppy and the bond you have with them

We started giving him baths when we first got him at 2months but we give him baths once’s a week
@@lifewithbrownie9718 suggestion. u dont need to bathe weekly, once a month is fine or else it strips the natural oils in his fur :)
Brownie is so cute ! Does he sleep in your bed or his crate with his bed ? I have loved all my dogs , they sleep in theirs own beds
