It feels like we might be getting closer to the answers and I'm sure in the next DLC a lot more will be revealed. What do you think?

With that drawing of the runaway kid and six together, along with shadow six, would that imply that they know each other or have been together at some point? Perhaps they could be siblings, since they have similar hair style and colours (however this is probably just a coincidence).

hey beaver.. you missed a hidden room like the one that 6 finds when you press a button and different rooms are viewed like a camera shown on a big TV screen.... there is one when you bring the ladder down to lower the mine cart onto the rails... if you go left instead of right to lower the cart that's where it is. You actually get to see where 6 is at the time when the boy is doing this with the gnomes that should help you know where the time is occurring. Like so he sees

Since the timeline contradicts it no. She didn't eat the runaway kid. He is already in the Lady's quarters before Six got there.
And on the Picture 11:06 shows the run away kid close by the lady's mask this could have happened after Six eaten The Lady BOOM! PLOT TWIST!!

What I am wondering is that if the nomes are made almost like dolls with souls put into them, how was Six able to eat one?
I think they maintain their souls. This would explain why six was able to know the lady's fear of mirrors after eating/consuming the runaway kid, and figuring out how to navigate the pipes after consuming the rat.
Because a soul was in it making it able to eat

That would be so creepy if the ending for the next dlc is the runaway kid does turn into a ghome and gets eaten by six trying to feed her like he does in sixes campaign or maybe just seeing the lady's face takes the kids soul and when he saw her face this happen
Fortunately, the timeline contradicts it. Six has already eaten the Nome by that point. And we rode the elevator the Lady used to go to her quarters. Which in turn was used by Six to go to her quarters for the final boss battle.
Xalphire remember the ending when he is on the elevator with her so she's not dead yet and just because he sees her mask doesn't mean she's dead it could mean she took off her mask

It isn't the runaway kid for 2 reasons:
1)The timeline contradicts it.
2)It wouldn't bode well for the fans of the game. Telling me that the character we've played and waited for months away every chapter, a character who's story we've come to anticipate, only gets eaten as a final closure would be absolutely idiotic.
The ending should be a good one, and that's what the fans want.

Congratulations on your prediction! I just finished The Residence. Your were spot on with the final theory. It made sense storytelling wise, and also poetic. The moment I reached the final bit in the end and the game shifted to something new, I was already anticipating this.

I know this might be stupid but i think that six is a doll and the shadow six who comes out every time six eats,is six's soul.six's soul needed food just like gashia who needs food for the next guest.So the shadow six already had a power but was blocked by the lady.and finally when six defeated gashia (ate),she got her soul/shadow six power back and the power from gashia. That is just my theory but think about it if u can though!

What I think of the timeline in Little Nightmares:
1984: The lady (presumably Six’s Mom) uses her powers to create the Maw as a prison and a resort.
2008: Seven/The Runaway Kid, Five/The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat, and Mono were born.
2009: Six, all the children, and the nomes were born
2016: The Lady then decided to use her powers for herself, because of her ugliness. She has the Janitor to start kidnaping children (ages 6-12) and hires the chefs to turn them into meat for the guests to eat to fatten them up, so she can steal their life force. She hires more residents to make sure the children don’t get away such as: The Granny, The Mistress, The Craftsman, The Butler, etc.
2017: The events of VLN and LN take place.

The Real timeline of the games(It's just my thoery)
Very Little Nightmares: Six gets her rain coat and excapes The Nest and gets traped on the maw
Little Nightmares: Six gets on the maw and exacpes the maw/Runaway kid gets turned into a nome and eated
Little Nightmares 2: Six gets drifted onto the beach of The City and meets Mono

Also, in this dlc, six was last seen walking through the shoes. This means that even six didn't go up the next level. For the boy to end on the elevator could mean that he's ahead of six?

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but there is a Nome who follows you in the end, or at least tries.
Being the Nome leader I am, I threw the Nome up to help it go along with me. The Nome followed me but then suddenly just stopped by a wall.
When I turned around to look at it, I saw it's shadow . . . it looked like The Runaway Kid's shadow. The Nome didn't follow me, it just stood there and I moved on but . . . that was creepy AF o~o

I recently did my livestream for the Depths and the Hideaway and when I saw that cliffhanger, I almost thought that was taking place during the time that Six made it through the guest area and was ready to confront the lady, however it quickly didn't add up knowing that the janitor still had his arms the last time the runaway kid sees him. This video pretty much helped summed it up for me. So whatever is going to be happening next for the runaway kid's campaign is definitely happening way way before Six's campaign ends, in fact, there's an all seeing eye that the runaway kid can look at and one of the things it will show is that Six was still currently in the lair where the piles of shoes was during the Hideaway chapter.
The nomes remind me of the soot in Spirited Away ecspecially since they throw coal into the fire.
In a hidden room in the hideaway there is an eye just like in six campaign and you see six in the room full of shoes.

If the furnace light is the only light that shows their reflection of a child what about the flashlight shining on the nome that was the girl showing she was a girl. By the way don't call the flashlight a torch.
Why shouldn't he call the flashlight a torch? There are many countries in the world that call flashlights electric torches or just torch for short.
Tim Bell okay so if you look at this from a different perspective. As the nomes look at the furnace their shadows turn into children because as they look at the furnace they're reminded of life as a child and within that moment their souls become children again and the 'flashlight' casts a shadow which would still be shown as a child because the nomes are still looking at the furnace and being reminded of being a child.

Hello internet welcome to Beaver Theory!
....... when you watch this video after the last release of the DLC.
A small detail but I feel like its an important one.
Hair styles.
The girl who the runaway kid follows in the first part of the DLC appears to have her hair braided
while the shadow of the gnome girl appears to have her hair down.
Six also seems to have shorter hair,though this could be wrong. Since we don't see her without her hood we can't say for certain that her hair is shorter
About the Nome with the girl shadow: On three of my Hideaway runs, that Nome's shadow was that of a boy.
I think the girl WAS turned into a Nome but ISN'T that specific Nome.
Also, the end of the Hideaway is the end of the Janitor's level on Six's campaign, and the end of the Residence is once Six escaped the chefs, or maybe the guests.

In the hideaway, theirs a security room. It's after we escaped from the janitor. It's on the second floor , with the swinging minecart, on the left there's a hole , and if you watch all security tapes , it shows Six in the shoe pit. It Also shuts of the option the the shield monster is the granny, because at this point she's already dead ...or Mabye Not!
