Good advice and information, these Slash Appetite Bursts make a good guitar to "greenyfy" I was lucky to get a used one in very good condition from Andertons in UK for the equivalent to $620. I really like the neck profile which is a little slimmer than the Epiphone 59. I recently sold a Standard 50 because of the fat neck.

Those newer satin finish guitars will polish up to a very nice gloss. It does take quite a number of applications of carnauba was to fill in those porous spots though but it does bud up very nice and doesn’t look like poly.

HI, yes they do did you look at my Epiphone 59' video ? that was a flat finish i did to a gloss and also i did it to my Gibson Les Paul Tribute ..

Yes, well worth the effort, that flat matt finish obscures the flame which can be seen when polished.
