MR. G-- LOOKS LIKE FUN LOOKING FOR STUFF WE COULD USE TO BAD THOSE TRUCKS ARE THERE!!! HOARDERS SUCK WHEN THEY DRIVE IN TO THE WOODS A GREAT CAR THEN IT TURNS TO CRAP...YADABYE... LEARNING GREAT VIDEO..
I am both intrigued and saddened by most of these places you visit. It is so cool to see the vintage items, the automotive history and at the same time so sad to see the side effects of these individuals hoarding disease. 😢
Tim, where we live in Michigan, about 35 miles north of Detroit, these places are gone, we grew up in a farming/gravel pit town, they were gone by the late 80's early 90's....
I drove a. White compact tractor ( pulled shag trailers and pups) in the late 70’s at Consolidated Freightways they were green with a continental 6 cyl (propane) gutless!
I used to know a family like this in St. Joseph Mo. They even let their livestock and Chickens run in and out of the house. When the Old man went to the Hospital My wife was the Nurse who had to help bathe him and she said the water was pure mud and the stink was beyond an old death smell.
Those boots does the job for a place like that a number 16 rusty nail through the foot would not be to kool at all that old looks like it was huge in its day and some great rusty gold laying around also thanks for sharing your adventures .like all your videos never know what you will find .been watching adventures .made from scrap.saw the old diamond. T truck you.did a video on .in his scrape yard ..
Great old stuff, not to many places like that here where I live anymore. All the old wreaking yards have been removed and no more horder houses. Would love to go back where you are and check out the cool places. By the way, your lucky that your wife's Dad let you take her out in a van, you wouldn't have taken my daughter. 😄👍👍👍👍👍😅❤🇺🇸
I so want that International Travelette, I had a 63 1200r pickup that I stupidly sold, they are hard to find parts for tho. Someday I want to go to an auction with you, your knowledge is amazing.
I understand telephone books it’s a snapshot as they say into a certain time. I always pick up a door house doors old house doors I got quite a few in my shed they’re just unique and make things out of them headboards and decorative things or actually use them for real doors lol
Those old phone books come in real handy for genealogy and local history. Because they were always thought of as temporary and obsolete within a few years they were always thrown out and are exceedingly rare. It's hit and miss with the local libraries.
@@steves7896 There were also books that were utilized for one year also I remember we store them at the hospital for the city and they contained peoples addresses age and their occupation but I don’t remember the name of them. We end up cutting them over to the history Norco Society when the hospital was renovated here in town
Every building I have worked it has an elevator I always stop the elevator between floors and open up the doors it’s easy to do if you know what you’re doing .😮 on an older elevator ,and you always see people have written their name in the year and may be a little something else. I always put my name and my wife’s usually the year we get married and a heart but it’s interesting I’ve seen dates back to the early early 1900s or even in building basement that I have worked with the building is 100+ years old or newer.. I love the explores I do so myself nothing to this caliber
Thank you. On my opinien you tell about the USA more realy. I watch the first canel in the Russia, where I hear than in the USA is everywhere the gloom, stagnation and rotting. You change my sights about the USA.
Thanks for stopping by the channel. The guy we toured the place with is helping the owner (who is in her 80s) sell the vehicles. Most of what you see here is available to buy. The place is in south central Kansas. If you see anything you like, send me an email at mrgoodpliers1985@gmail.com
wieck aution service is having an auction in woodriver ne with this kind of stuff every year tons of rat rod or restore saw a 65 mustang parts etc on the computer
Mr. Googpliers how is your day. I was wondering if you could help me find some driver side quarter window regulator for 1969 oldsmobile 98. If you come around one let me know please. And it is a convertible
Agent Orange anyone? 😆 22:32 What is THAT? .....with the big spring and chains? Appreciate the tip on the fireman's boots. The patina on the blue school bus was fantastic with those vertical rust runs!! The bus was worth saving on just that aspect alone, you just can't fake that stuff (nor would ya want to). Those old corner block medallions and casing trim with all that nice weathering would go for a nice penny in parts of the country where this stuff is rare (like here out west in Vegas). Grateful you see the value in those old run down structures in their environment and have the mind to share them. Thank you!
"No" means do not crush. They must have a iron buyer coming in for the junk iron. We had a guy clean up our farm before we sold it. The spray painted orange the things that they crushed.
Mr. Goodpliers does cool stuff!
My guess the holes made in the tires may have been used to make rubber washers.
90% junk, 10% treasure! Love cruising these places. You learn alot about the owner. History and a story...

Tom & Jerry? Thank you so much for that!!!! I really enjoy your channel and ALL your efforts! Keep em coming! Thanks.

I would love to see you do a will it run video on an old car or truck that you come across .awesome place
I pulled for red Ball Mover's out of Colorado in the 1970's Cornelius Trucking out of Lamar, Colorado.
when one pass away, you can see the imprint of there life's by the things they leave behind.
Love this one
There is so much stuff, and so many trees, I don't think you were able to see half of the stuff.
Kids in a candy store. Don't have to worry about snakes? Thanks for the upload
I see that gun rack in the trailer. LOL ! I think every shop teacher is the 70’s had the students make one of those.

House gives new meaning to 'open concept'
Hah!
It would be a blast to go along on one of these tours!
So what did you get? I could crawl around these properties for days. Great video, keep them coming.
Same here

@@MoeLarrycurly1 I think they're called city directories (as opposed to phone books).

Uh-oh, folks, Joe's going into "bloodhound" mode!
Very cool
IM ONE OF THOSE DO IT ALL GUYS........YOU NEED
TO NEVER STOP LEARNING...
..AND YOU LEARN BY DOING......BE OBSEST....
It always amazes me as to how much stuff we have in our country and I hope I don't end up being that hoarder guy lol.
Need the grille surround on the Dodge Truck😁
Looks like my trailer haus.
Grand home in its day
20:19 Yamaha 2-stroke twin, maybe an R5. Father of the RD350.
Most of the vehicles were in better shape then the house. Do you know what year it was abandoned?
The lawn mower frame and engine looks like a big mow
It would take years to clean all that up.
Whats the bird , singing in the background?
What do all the painted-on-the-glass "NOs" mean on the vehicles?
Just think of all the time/hours to build that house with lathe/plaster walls etc
Thank you. On my opinien you tell about the USA more realy. I watch the

That van is a 2nd Gen Chevy 108. 67-70
I'm just curious, did anyone claim those vehicles? Are they forsale?

What do the "x"s and "NO"s mean?
Mr. Googpliers how is your day. I was wondering if you could help me find some driver side quarter window regulator for 1969 oldsmobile 98. If you come around one let me know please. And it is a convertible
Does NO marked on the windows mean Not For Ssle?
They bring the mobile crusher to the farm.No written on a vehicle means not for crushing.
👍👍👍
If those are 2 stroke motorcycles they are worth a fortune
is there going to be a auction
Not that I am aware of. The guy is helping the old lady get the vehicles listed and sold one at a time
Why are the cars marked with NO
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Few more years and all these places will be gone.
Agent Orange anyone? 😆

Kind of a shame all that cool stuff was left out in the elements....alot of that stuff is restorable, but original condition would be better ....
I’m like septic truck
its a 164 volvo
why is there a "no" on some of these vehicles?
"No" means do not crush. They must have a iron buyer coming in for the junk iron. We had a guy clean up our farm before we sold it. The spray painted orange the things that they crushed.
Property must belong to someone. I wonder who? County Tax office might be of some help.
So these are not for sale? I'm just guessing with all the no signs on the cars. I don't understand how people can live like this. Junk everywhere.
No means do not crush. Around here they bring the crusher to the farm, haul it away and pay you by the ton.
@@darrylvohs5526 Thanks for the info.
🙂👍
They must have been worse than animals. Even Piggs.
Where's the freakin' graveyard, man?
