  • It is always cold! Obviously, what would one expect living in a vehicle in the winter? I understood this, having camped in the cold. I just didn't anticipate it would be as difficult to find a solution for this.
    I don't lack sleep because of the cold. My sleep system can withstand below ZERO temps. I am just not a restful sleeper, never have been.

    This vehicle looks so comfy, im leaving a super toxic woman , she put me out after she made sure I spent all my money taking care of her and fixing her car and covering rent. Well I wasn't on the lease so when she said get out , im out. First time I've had a gf since high-school put hands on me. It's freezing in colorado, can't wait to make my journey home to California, dude this inspires me
    I got work all week and will be sleeping in my truck till for four night and it's 30 degrees out and my truck has an exhaust leak into the cab hahaha , videos like this woman give me hope, gotta man up, or yah know thanks for the inspiration lady! I can hear the tiredness in your voice . Well this video is old so hope your home now

    Here's a tip. wear a polyester moisture wicking under shirt, then a 100%wool sweater and beanie, then have a fleece jacket over the wool sweater. Polyester wicks moisture, the wool retains heat but has ventilation, then the fleece repels water and is a windbreaker as well traps except it has ventilation so you dont sweat. Cause moisture will make you freeze.

    • @the_original_skytiger
      @the_original_skytiger 3 года назад

    I'm using heating blanket throw to assists on keeping warm in the cold climate. Place it on top of sleeping bag while in it increases the warmth inside sleeping bag Connecting it to a jackery 500 for overnight power source. It uses low wattage about 20% of power over 8 hours. It is about you being warm while sleeping in your sleeping bag not being warm by heating your car, suv, van, rv or tent while sleeping in your sleeping bag. I use electric appliances for cooking heating etc. Plug it into the jackery 500 and it produces all the power needed for my use until its time to recharge it while driving or using solar panels.

      At least in Germany it’s not allowed to leave on the motor while parking. I always heat while driving for five or 10 km and stop for parking to give a lesson. by at the end of the lesson it’s as cold inside as outside. My feet feel frozen then. It’s not a real pleasure to work in a cold car.

But what am I to think if I want to join the Air Force. Is this what I have to look forward to? To live in my car after serving over 15 years. Where are her kids or husband if she have any? If she doesn't have any children or not marry she should have a lot of money with the rank that she is holding. But whatever the situation is. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles and what happened to your father. The military is a necessity though. Not sure who you think is going to keep you safe if another country tries to take over. The rich need to be taxed adequately to help pay towards programs like homelessness.

    I feel for your predicament, in the USA, they make differences in the people in this country. There is to much variations in wages, or in other words !!! What corporations are willing to pay the average working people in the US. Also what the US government is willing to pay their soldiers. They are not willing to pay " a decent cost of living wage in this country anymore !!! Whether you are in the military or not !!! The many inmates, confined in our nations prisons, are treated better, than law abiding citizens, and are given fair housing, total free excess to full medical and dental care in the USA, by our elected government. While law abiding Americans, are put and displaced out of employment in their own country. !!! All of the well paying jobs are outsourced to foreign countries !!! Because of greed and corruption in this country. These practices are a shameful and a disgrace, to our country, The United States of America. To the corrupted individuals in this great land of ours, God and Jesus Christ see what you DO !!! and How you treat our many people, who are unemployed, whether in the military or not !!! We as a supposedly free nation, can act , do better, and be better. Follow the right ways of God and Christ instead of Satan's Ways !!! Our country and World, would, Be A Better Place For All. Everyone would benefit from this right practice !!! To our law abiding citizens, Stand Up For Our Country !!! OUR GOD AND OUR CHRIST, AND OURSELVES and the right to have decent jobs and pay to make a living in the USA. Kevin Phoenix

    Go to Walmart or Amazon and buy a zero degree or 20 degree sleeping bag. Zip yourself up while you're sleeping, and you'll be warm.
    I'm in the same boat as you. I tried a bunch of stuff, and found this is the perfect solution. I've slept in as low as 7 degree temp and have been warm.
