Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.

lol the easy way to remember turtles swim with flippers but tortoise stomp around on stumps 😹😹 it was my mantra to remember as a child. I love the flakes I think the tortoise would look great if he had been coated in the dragon flakes and then had the resin poured out onto him.
The stuff you put into the resin I think would have looked even better if they had a dark coloured backing, I.e. the gold with say midnight blue and the other ones with a dark version of the colour used on them. I don’t think it needs to be a black backing all the time.

The pigments are pretty. I did the ribbon adding trick back in December last year in a book cover mold on my channel, but didn't have the resin seeping up into it, and I did my pieces in polyurethane.

Thank you for the brilliant idea with the ribbon, I am currently crocheting a baby blanket and have the perfect little bear mold to use for a ribbon. I might try using uv resin to attach the ribbon as I think this will stop the resin wicking into it. 🎀 ❤
Personally I wouldn’t trust UV resin as a glue to epoxy resin, I would go for superglue or epoxy glue 😀😀👍 but I’m sure it will turn out beautiful 😀😀👍❤️

I'm glad I saw you using the starry pigments as I have been eyeing them up for a while. I think you could get the same effect with interference mica powder
Quite possibly 😀😀 I think they would be great in uv resin though as they are quite transparent, which is needed in Uv resin 😀😀😀👍❤️
