Viera made me play in the first place. And you know what, I actually never appreciated the fact that Viera do have the most of unique hairstyles before this video so HELLA GOOD POINT. BUNNY NOSES ARE THE MOST ADORABLE and anyone who hates bun noses is just a lil hater. But the biggest appeal to me *was* the lore. It has a lot of creativity opportunity. From creating your own village lore to having a freedom to go literally any direction. Viera were good hunters, but also apparently according to lore have deep aether reserves, so truly sky is the limit. Also one reason that was not mentioned is that Veena Viera are effectively pipe dream for any sweedaboo/vikingboo. Clan Ymir, come on.
I swear I could have written this comment myself. The noses, the fact that when they were introduced Viera were often red mages, the soft Scandinavian theme of the Veena. So many reasons I adore them.
We viera players are a very based people. Viera are all pretty tall, strong, hot, and long lived. 360+ years to be precise. They also are strong af, have a really good sense of small, and obviously super hearing.
I wonder if Yoshi-P will bless us Viera with our own Ear Gloves like Miqo'te ? However I imagine they would look more comical then cute. Hope everyone enjoys the Year of the Bunny Supremacy

Viera really are extremely well done and I absolutely love mine. However I've already planned to switch to fem Hrothgar when they release if they look good. But one thing I will most definitely miss is that race specific gear. Those Viera pantalettes work with *EVERYTHING*, it's insane. I use them in so many glamours.
I'm a catboy, and one of the very few in my fc of Viera, thanks to the year of the bun :') When male Viera was released, I was really tempted to fantasia temporarily, but I love my catboy too much, and settled for a lore-accurate bunboy alt. ^^ I love all the unique Viera hair and I hope we get some of them on the other races (at least the hair that a certain spoilery character has!). It'd be nice to see Au Ra next, a lot of friends and people I follow coincidentally are very passionate about them and I'd love to hear your take!
Before Fran was the true best bun girl, Shara, my reason for selecting Viera. And while they may all look like freaking super models, I like to think that they are super wholesome, family oriented people.

I'm super late but I noticed it when I got the streetwear outfit and noticed my male viera was swaying his hips when he walked and now I love male viera even more. I like to insert myself into my character and as a straight guy and now knowing I swing my hips when I walk in game is just so amazing for the already soft bunny boys
happy you mentioned the noses since I have had a few people tell me it looks bad but I just think they are one of their cutest features(as a bunny boy I do appreciate a nose boop every now and then)
Funnily enough I love every race and one unique thing that makes them them. I love my catboi and will not change from him, I love the poses the little clawed hands people hate the posture in all sit poses.... like I like them! Same goes for a lot of things people hate on every race I love!

I started out as a female Miqo'te and was okay with it. Then, mid-SB, I wanted to create my second retainer, saw female Rava Viera... and fell in love. I made the retainer a miqo and fantasia'd to Rava Viera myself. And I never looked back. Only thing is... I miss hats at times ^^'
I was a male miqo, and I swapped to male viera because I saw a hairstyle that I wanted INSTANTLY. So I fantasia’d and never looked back lol. I absolutely ADORE my bun boy Something that really sticks out to me is how incredible he looks in cutscenes. Like, my ssd is filled to the brim with screenshots of cutscenes with my character lmao. I also went for the veena clan because I love Norse mythology and culture, and a lone Nordic wood warder was a really badass backstory that I barreled straight for 😅

I'm a Fran Stan. They just happened to introduce male Viera with Endwalker, right as I got back in the game. It was a no-brainer, and he's been my main ever since. HATE that I can't wear Amon's pimp hat, but love that I get to play this awesome race in this awesome game!
Frankly, I think Viera have the best body proportions if you want to make a tall humanoid character with nice hips/butt. They don't have that lankiness and giraffe neck of Elezens and they don't look stocky and barrel-chested like Femroes. And I'm glad to hear at least somebody else likes those adorable noses. I personally can't look at mine without wanting to kiss it. I miss my Au'Ra sometimes, but now I can finally reach the top shelf.
As a Hyur, I see the Viera as a very interesting race. I don't hate the race, but I don't do well making a male Viera, it looks off and doesn't fit my style. but they are unique in their own way
Did you know that the base gear set for Viera was because of FFXII's Viera, Fran. While it is true their first appearance was from Tactics Advance the attire wasn't fleshed out until modeled on her.
First time commenting under your videos and I just wanted to preface by saying I adore your videos! The editing, the camera work, the shading & especially how you take advantage of how expressive Miqos emotes are, make for a delightful watch every time. As for the Viera ( the bunbois specifically) I love them but they are the cause of suffering for me ;-; After finishing Endwalker I used a fantasia for a "filler arc" as my original WOL is taking a break but now I am conflicted whether I will be able to go back. My original is a Hyur (half-Hyur from headcanon) whom I kept consistently changing and making him grow as the story progressed. From young and naive middie, adding battle worn scars, using ARR fantasia to change into Highlander for a time-skip post heavensward, to making him grow greyish hair in Endwalker and returning to my first hairstyle I ever used in the game. I never, ever considered abandoning my perfect character but a male Viera with their mannerisms, faces, voice and bodyshape....they were able to shake my conviction. I don't know what to do! Damn you, you perfect rabbitfolk! 😡

I had a Fantasia addiction before shadowbringer and stayed mostly to Au Ra before I switched to Veira, since I switched I havent spent a dime on Fantasia and since I pre ordered I had my bunny a 2 weeks before everyone else

I fantasia from a miqote to a viera mainly because i like the short hair with the braid at the side when they first came out. Been jumping around (yes i'm a fantasia addict) but eventually i always go back to viera. Even my love for miqote and au ra (i started the game as an au ra) cant compete, i believe its something to do with the hair, nose and glam. This video helped me pointed out the reason on why i keep gravitating to viera. Thx for making a fun video to watch ❤

I have another reason for someone to play Viera. If they love 80s anime (or its aesthetic). The reason I fanta’d into bun was because I wanted my WoL to look like an 80s anime protagonist, and 80s art styles have the thick ass eyelashes. Vieras have the thickest eyelashes in the game, so yeah. Amusingly, I had an OC I designed with Vieras in mind, ten years ago. That character’s ear size relative to their head, I applied it on my WoL. That said, one measures a Viera’s height without the ears, but bigger ears are more attractive. They’re like boobs, butts or thighs-the bigger the better, but you do not include them in determining whether someone is chonk or not.
I went through most of ARR as a male Viera. He looked really cool and I was proud that he looked unique. Over time however, his feminine dances and emotes got to me. IT went against how I imagined his personality to be, it seemed out of character. I have nothing against feminine guy, I consider myself to be somewhat feminine for a guy. Then I went on a crazy fantasia spree and tried out several races and genders. I've recently landed on a male Lalafell. He's short and cute like me so I find him more relatable without his emotes and such going against his character. Honestly, the little dance he does is something I would randomly do in my kitchen while cooking, lol. That's all to say, even though I didn't stick with my male Viera, their aesthetics are top notch and I often stop and stare at the different designs of the players running around (and there's a lot of them, lol!). Also, for your next video, I'd love to see one of about Lalafell, or for something less common, the Roegadyn. :)
Former Au Ra main here, turned Viera. I actually made my Viera a Sharlayan Researcher. Part of the Baldesion Annex for roleplay. Went from a bounty hunter Au Ra to a Scholar Viera.

I play male Viera (female before Endwalker) and I say measurement is by the head. Also, I will absolutely say one of the reasons I can't go back to other races (before viera my WoL was a lalafell) are the cool, elegant and composed viera specific emotes are. It's so appealing how they convey emotes while maintaining poise. Also, Fran was one of my fav characters from 12, they are very pretty and bunnies lol My only wish is they'd have "variants" for races, like unique features based on interracial mixing. Like really short Viera could be dwarf Vieras for more height/body differences. And for other races too, just ways to show races mix? I know that isn't going to happen but would be so cool to have a dwarf Viera. Or different ears, little horns from au ra, etc.
I actually fantasia'd off a Viera because of no hats (After becoming one) and now I proudly wave the Roe-Gals flag. Just something about the Roegadyn ladies speaks to me, and its not just Admiral Mommy in Limsa hehe.
I do like the face options for the male Viera but I don't like the ears at all and that keeps me from playing them. I don't care for the noses much either, mainly just the slight color shift that makes it look more like a bunny or cat nose. If I could have a Viera without the ears and a normal nose they'd definitely be my favorite.

Used the free fantasia in DT to try out Viera, i didn't last 20 minutes and went to switch back when i saw all my headgear glam were not showing, wish they disabled the ears and allowed us to wear headgear i'd take that tbh.
Point 9 and 10, really did it for me. I am an avid Ivalice lover and after 7 years of not connecting with my Elezen going Viera has made a huge difference. I love my bun and I will never go back.
Viera have two heights, head height and ear height. My bunni boi is 5'7'' head height and like 7'2'' ear height. (might change later) But I feel like you can't only use one measurement for them. Don't forgo the ear play, its very important and the length matters.
The day I meant Lyna was an honest temptation to play Viera. But I doubt I’m changing much frankly. We all have our biases though. Happy year of the rabbit everyone.
Viera females have such a mature sexy vibe which is a big contrast to the more cutesy vibe that the other races give, with the exception of Highlanders, Roegadyn, and Elezen. That along with their height and proportions make them the best race imo. I have one big problem with them, though. In games that give the option, I like to change my character's hairstyle after major events or time skips to show a growth/change of character. But because the ears are so prominent on Viera, it doesn't have as much impact as I'd like. That is the one thing that is tempting me to change to Hyur or even Elezen.
I’d include the ears. Height is a measurement of one’s physical body and the ears count. After all do we not include the toes in measurements determining shoe size? Or fingers when determining wingspan?
My tin pot theory is they didn't give Viera hats on purpose. We'd be to good otherwise. The devs had to give other races a chance. Yoshi P might deny it but we of the Bun Bun Master Race know the truth.
If my main wasnt a catboy with his own story I would be veira main for sure. I do kinda wish they had tails though even tho it's not strictly lore friendly. also waiting with baited breath on when they can wear hats
As a fem viera main….this is accurate 😌. Also as an artist i get to have so much fun drawing my girl kalypso and have a well thought out story for her. This is easily my favorite race in the whole game besides au’ra

It's so tough, because I'm a huge like, rp/headcanon lover, and the Viera are SOOO good for scratching that itch. I started with the free trial, so I was an Elezen guy first since I liked the faces so much. However I really disliked the animations, and how they stand. So when I finally bought the game, I got a fantasia and switched to Viera. I really loved my bunny guy, but I just don't know! Something was missing, something was ever so slightly off. I loved how he looked, but he didn't look like the WoL I had in my head and I just don't know why. So I switched to Miqo'te. I reeaaallly thought about and looked into it this time. I looked at all the animations as stuff. I think their lore is pretty fun, and interesting to play around with (though not AS fun as Viera), and their expressiveness is everything to me. Plus because of how they sit I get to perch everywhere?!?! Sign me up! I miss the Elezen faces. I miss my Viera backstory vibes and HC. But My Miqo'te just has the final edge over them and he finally feels like the WoL I imagined. Plus I've made art of and commissioned art of him, so now there's no going back LOL

IT went against how I imagined his personality to be, it seemed out of character. I have nothing against feminine guy, I consider myself to be somewhat feminine for a guy.
Then I went on a crazy fantasia spree and tried out several races and genders. I've recently landed on a male Lalafell. He's short and cute like me so I find him more relatable without his emotes and such going against his character. Honestly, the little dance he does is something I would randomly do in my kitchen while cooking, lol.
That's all to say, even though I didn't stick with my male Viera, their aesthetics are top notch and I often stop and stare at the different designs of the players running around (and there's a lot of them, lol!).
Also, for your next video, I'd love to see one of about Lalafell, or for something less common, the Roegadyn. :)
Former Au Ra main here, turned Viera. I actually made my Viera a Sharlayan Researcher. Part of the Baldesion Annex for roleplay. Went from a bounty hunter Au Ra to a Scholar Viera.

I play male Viera (female before Endwalker) and I say measurement is by the head. Also, I will absolutely say one of the reasons I can't go back to other races (before viera my WoL was a lalafell) are the cool, elegant and composed viera specific emotes are. It's so appealing how they convey emotes while maintaining poise. Also, Fran was one of my fav characters from 12, they are very pretty and bunnies lol
My only wish is they'd have "variants" for races, like unique features based on interracial mixing. Like really short Viera could be dwarf Vieras for more height/body differences. And for other races too, just ways to show races mix? I know that isn't going to happen but would be so cool to have a dwarf Viera. Or different ears, little horns from au ra, etc.
I actually fantasia'd off a Viera because of no hats (After becoming one) and now I proudly wave the Roe-Gals flag. Just something about the Roegadyn ladies speaks to me, and its not just Admiral Mommy in Limsa hehe.
I do like the face options for the male Viera but I don't like the ears at all and that keeps me from playing them. I don't care for the noses much either, mainly just the slight color shift that makes it look more like a bunny or cat nose. If I could have a Viera without the ears and a normal nose they'd definitely be my favorite.

Used the free fantasia in DT to try out Viera, i didn't last 20 minutes and went to switch back when i saw all my headgear glam were not showing, wish they disabled the ears and allowed us to wear headgear i'd take that tbh.
Fran was the reason I liked them. I loved her voice acting and the way she spoke.

Point 9 and 10, really did it for me. I am an avid Ivalice lover and after 7 years of not connecting with my Elezen going Viera has made a huge difference. I love my bun and I will never go back.

Viera have two heights, head height and ear height.
My bunni boi is 5'7'' head height and like 7'2'' ear height. (might change later)
But I feel like you can't only use one measurement for them. Don't forgo the ear play, its very important and the length matters.
You measure height by where the halo sits in the angelic set! it's all the way up there!

I would measure Viera height by head not ears. To make Viera more easily comparable to other races.

Viera females have such a mature sexy vibe which is a big contrast to the more cutesy vibe that the other races give, with the exception of Highlanders, Roegadyn, and Elezen. That along with their height and proportions make them the best race imo.
I have one big problem with them, though. In games that give the option, I like to change my character's hairstyle after major events or time skips to show a growth/change of character. But because the ears are so prominent on Viera, it doesn't have as much impact as I'd like. That is the one thing that is tempting me to change to Hyur or even Elezen.

I’d include the ears. Height is a measurement of one’s physical body and the ears count. After all do we not include the toes in measurements determining shoe size? Or fingers when determining wingspan?

It's so tough, because I'm a huge like, rp/headcanon lover, and the Viera are SOOO good for scratching that itch. I started with the free trial, so I was an Elezen guy first since I liked the faces so much. However I really disliked the animations, and how they stand. So when I finally bought the game, I got a fantasia and switched to Viera. I really loved my bunny guy, but I just don't know! Something was missing, something was ever so slightly off. I loved how he looked, but he didn't look like the WoL I had in my head and I just don't know why.
So I switched to Miqo'te. I reeaaallly thought about and looked into it this time. I looked at all the animations as stuff. I think their lore is pretty fun, and interesting to play around with (though not AS fun as Viera), and their expressiveness is everything to me. Plus because of how they sit I get to perch everywhere?!?! Sign me up!
I miss the Elezen faces. I miss my Viera backstory vibes and HC. But My Miqo'te just has the final edge over them and he finally feels like the WoL I imagined.
Plus I've made art of and commissioned art of him, so now there's no going back LOL

First off, I mesure from the top of the ears. My partner measures from the head. She's taller from her measurements T-T. Viera are S teir vanilla, but with mods.. We have hats, and ear wiggles. Literally unbeatable.
