SUSHI - Most Underrated Protocol in DeFi? (BentoBox, Kashi, Miso Explained)

- So why is Sushi believed to be one of the most underrated protocols in DeFi? What are some of its new features such as BentoBox, Kashi and Miso all about? And what is Sushi’s approach to launching on different blockchains and scaling solutions? You’ll find answers to these questions in this video.
Let’s start with a bit of background.
Sushi launched in August 2020 during DeFi Summer - the first period of major growth of DeFi. The project quickly gained a lot of traction mostly due to the nature of its launch.
Sushi - back then known as SushiSwap - aimed at directly competing with Uniswap by forking it and encouraging liquidity providers to move their liquidity to a new platform in a process called a vampire attack.
The full story behind Sushi, although super interesting, is out of the scope for this video. Fortunately enough, I’ve already made a video about it some time ago and you can watch it here if you’re interested.
Almost a year later and the rocky launch of Sushi seems like a distant past and the team behind the protocol has been working hard on delivering new, interesting features and building the Sushi ecosystem.
Besides the main function of Sushi - a decentralized exchange for swapping assets, the protocol offers a growing range of other products: a liquidity bootstrapping feature for other projects - Onsen; a lending platform - Kashi; a launchpad for new protocols - Miso. More on these later in the video.

How will Sushiswap face the challenge of uniswap v3, and the much greater capital efficiency that it provides?
(Note that this isn't intended as FUD, but is a serious question. I hold both UNI and SUSHI tokens, and am open to increasing in both.)

So why does a defi token like sushi or uni change in price? Is it strictly based on speculation and adoption of the network? Meaning, the more users, the more valuable the network? I feel that I am missing something here
I thought about your question, and the answer I have is in “pro” trading apps that have a limit price tool. When someone sets the “limit” price to say, $x such that when/if it reaches that price they've essenti set the price if that asset or token to that price in that moment.
The “limit” price JQ Random person sets is based upon their perception of the number of users, total value lock, market cap, or something else we use to value or justify value in the marketplace.

I would say Proton Chain is most underrated Protocol in DeFi, Sushi is great but there are many limitations, one of which is gas fees.

I believe that pancake swap is the one that is underrated, with high APY for staking and a lot of features that are missing from other defi apps i would much prefer to buy pancake then sushi.

@@MS-gw5xi if you a look at sushi's roadmap, they just started these features last February and being "worked on" while MDX launched with all those features January. Look, I'm not against Sushi or anything, it's just that Sushi will be copying these features because of projects like mdx or even any coins that can improve their ecosystem. Every coins do it every time, that's why I recommended that they should also talk about mdx. Just because Sushi existed first does not mean that those features existed during Sushi's launch.

As of now >90% of sushi fees come from uni v2 code. Until they write/innovate something that makes money, i dont consider sushi token a good buy.
