I like that pre packaged burger hack. I recently got the Ace exclusive Blackstone and done smash burgers couple times and never thought of doing them that way. Makes it easier. Thanks

did you use wax paper or parchment paper ?

Either will work fine, but you certainly don't have to use it at all. I found that if you raise straight up it will stick. If you kind of drag your spatula towards you, it will release easier when you lift. Parchment paper makes it easier for hassle free smashing, but then you have some trash to deal with. Thanks for watching the video!

Try cooking the onions for a minute or so then put them under each patty as they cook.

I love the cleaning/scraping tool you used to clean before toasting the bread. Can you share where you got it or what brand it is? Thank you!

This is the wood handle set by Blackstone. Definitely my favorite set of all of the various spatulas and scrapers that I have. They are very sturdy and clean up well. At the time I got this link, they are really pricey, but I think I bought my set for around $40. Keep an eye out on Amazon as the price fluctuates.

Fries for dessert lol. They needed a big head start. 3 minutes for smash burgers, 15 for thick fries.

True story! Lol. I learned my lesson from this one and do them much further ahead now.

Par-Bake the potatoes before cutting them 5-15 minutes in the microwave, depending on how many potatoes. Let them cool, then cut. They will cook faster and be crispier.

Nice looking cook Andy. I like your packaged burger hack. I might have missed it, but what temp were you cooking those fries at? Never done fries that way on the Blackstone. Definitely going to give that a shot. Thanks for sharing!
