What a great team you and your wife have been through this build. Love the progress and the push to the finish. So fun watching and admiring all that have you have done to get to this point.
What a great bit of work you have got done there Rossco. Jan is wonderful, look after that one! Can't believe that there were no takers to get that mold off your hands.
The bolts that held our chain plates protruded into the cabin, they were not only unsightly, but a safety hazard in rough seas. So I capped them all with Acorn Nuts in all the common areas. Still visible, but they looked so much better, and a collision with them now would just leave a bruise instead of a nasty cut... Especially important after a few coldies!... 🤒
Rosco, do a search for Element E50 Fire Extinguishers. It might be something that fits your needs. Can't wait for splash day! I haven't been this excited since my weasel went missing. 🙂
hi hope you place a copper/brass fly screen safety screen stop any thing falling thru drain hole and easy to clean cover the bugger factor full steam ahead
Don't remember seeing if you got a buyer for the main Cat mould watching you cutting these moulds up and them not going with the main mould mayed me wonder
I sold them , had deposit paid, they pulled out three months later, cost me over 15k to store the three catamaran sized space.Had to go. Advertised fir 3 years, tried to give away, crazy stuff.Ross

Looking back through the episodes for any coverage of western NC home losses. Living in tents, depending on access to propane to keep from freezing. Huh none found.
As horrible as that flooding was here (the New River is 15 minutes away), they live in Australia, so probably not on a priority list for them, IF it was covered at all in the southern hemisphere by media. However, Roscoe and family are solid, caring people without question. Btw, did you think of the eastern Australians during and after their devastating fires several years ago? Many are still rebuilding there, just like in Hawaii, Oregon and now California (again). That's just the major U.S. fires already washed away in the media. Then there is Puerto Rico,,, get it?
@@icelandviking1961 Yes I'm talking about North Carolina. Editing to say I'm an idiot I was replying to a video about LA fires and the attention that, while deserved, should have been given to people of North Carolina. My apologies to the awesome people of Australia. Love this channel.
Why do you keep cutting holes with square inside corners. They will propagate cracks. Drill a hole in each corner. You need some larger fire extinguishers. Please. I’ve never even seen a square scupper. More square corners. I’m not even going to comment about that rough finish floor. You can fix that later. Love you guys. Keep on plowing ahead. Soon mon, soon.😊
Getting close and lookin good . Cannot wait for the splash but will miss your weekly show. We will all be so happy for you both .

I deliberately enclosed chainplates in the rear of a robe on each side creating a safe space for the projections.Cheers.Rossco
I’ve seen rubber covers that fit over those nuts or bolt heads (on a hangglider) to soften the edges
The admiral seems to be enjoying the polishing 😅 almost time to enjoy a few cold ones ( bet you have already in real time)
Watching your videos and the work you two put in will be worth it once you untie from the docks and head out in to the blue. in creditable build.
Awesome job!
Closer to the finish line the tougher it seems.

You could not find a buyer for the molds? Seems a shame that they ended up in the trash.

Come on everyone knows your labor is free or you could never been able to afford the build.

@@owenbrand4341Too true my friend NC has been ignored by the government. Luckily the people of that state are what neighbors should be like.
