Looking at the classes for Land Economy at Cambridge, it's basically the same as Agricultural Economics and Applied Economics programs in the United States, for anyone curious.

For anyone curious, this statement is incorrect.
Agricultural Economics is one of 17 optional courses and maybe ten of us take it. Land Economy is law and economics with a bit of geography and real estate finance; 'spatial political economy' would be a more accurate (but equally confusing) name.
Best regards, a Land Ec grad tired of having other people explain what we do.
