I work with several former prosecutors and yes, many did have a carry permit. You never know when someone will try to come after you for putting their family member or lover in prison and the court officers are no where in sight.

Joe Biden makes his accomplishments without fanfare, without bragging, and a lot of it quietly, sometimes with a conversation, probably sometimes just with a phone call. He is presidential, a statesman, he trained his entire life for it, he knows all the "players" in the world (heads of state, governors and power brokers). Biden is a priceless national treasure of near infinite value, and most of us don't realize it.

Both things could have seen as partisan and dividing, so her non-answer was probably much smarter.

Unfortunately, Trump was the worst president we ever had and the damage done was extremely difficult to come back from. Yet, we did and way faster than any other G7 country in the world. All the while we had some of the most COVID cases and deaths… DUE to Trump.

This gun thing is tricky. One late night coming back from work, parked in the parking lot, got out of my car, it was in downtown, when I saw 5 or six young guys, in their 19 or 20s, in the dark skate boarding toward me, 3 of them broke off and circled me, I quickly put my hand on my hip and told them I gut a gun, they quickly sped away. That bluff worked that time.
That was dumb, bluffing you have a gun when you don't could have escalated the situation with you not being able to back it up.

Depending on the neighborhood and whether it was actually a place high in assaults a gun could possibly be justified over yelling, calling someone on the phone, something like pepper spray. Or even the buddy system.
A gun can cause people to jump to killing in defense of a wallet or can be used against the owners after a tussle. There are very few things that would justify the taking of a human life.
With all the children and mothers with their children that have been shot doing nothing threatening in the last 10 years by someone with a gun who was afraid for whatever reason. I would not put my self at risk of recreating these tragedies unless absolutely necessary.

I do still plan to vote for Kamala Harris/Tim Walz but, she *really* needs to listen to Americans when they tell her how she can best help America.
Which Americans, specifically? That's a whole lot of people with a whole lot of ideas as to what will "help" and those ideas aren't always compatible with each other.
And that's assuming she even has the power to do what they want. That means not just a trifecta but one with a Senate supermajority to bypass the filibuster. Americans need to help her before she can help Americans.

1:16 How is the Biden administration "unpopular"? Trump supporters would hate anyone who isn't Trump, so that already limits any Democratic president to about 50% approval. Biden was at 40% approval a month ago (and around 40 for the last 3 years), or about 80% of non-Trump supporters. That doesn't sound "unpopular" to me. If he was below 25% total popularity, then he'd be unpopular.
I mean... If 40% is your standard for popularity then sure.
