Here I am using a Zebco combo from Cabella, catching trour, whiting, floubder and Sheephead...
definitely works. I was just recommending a more specialized set up

I have caught my limit on sheepshead plenty of times using the 9 ft Shakespeare Tiger combo from Walmart. Great info on rig setups.
Shakespeare is a great brand can never go wrong !

Thank you for making this Sheepshead tutorial video Jettyman, as you had promised. I enjoyed watching it and learned a lot about the tactics we need to use while pursuing that species. I went to Amazon to find the rods and reels you illustrated. If possible, and something you all able to do, please add links to the description for the two rods and reels and the #4 hook, etc. That would help us find those items. Some influencers like Mark at MDLR Fishing provide links and earn well deserved (small) commissions. Just a thought. Thank you again. Well produced video.

Will dead shrimp or salted shrimp work? Or only live?
Will it work probably. Would I recommend it no. Live shrimp is superior to all dead or salted baits.

What #lbs mono to keep me safe from the rocks?
I use 10lb test. That’s what I would recommend for mono. You can go with 15lb too that’s more than enough.
