my favorite part of this episode is how they spent an entire hour strategizing and duking it out in a battle of wits and creativity, only to end up deciding who the winner will be through a coin flip
I got a cameo from Jeffrey Steitzer (halo commentator for multi kills and such) as a Christmas present for my older brother. The guy was a gem, he read every line in the iconic voice and went as far to add extra time to wish him a happy holiday and such. It was a really great two part interaction with the guy. Tl;Dr done judge all cameos!
Oi! Bob! Seeing YOU and WADE at Fandom Fest years ago in Louisville ky was freaking awesome!!! I was so happy to see the two of you. I challenged Wade to a Gollum/Smegol off cuz I wanted to meet y'all. Please don't sell yourselves short.
Absolutely insane that Mark forgot about the word Gentacular between episodes (this was months after the weird words one though so I guess it's fine lmao)
I'd say you have a better chance being a non-native speaker, as you would have recently had to deal with the weird parts of English while learning it, giving yourself some basis to figure which parts were the tricks.
I love how for the first half hour, they're just playing a very slow and angry game of regular chess xD

I really hope they do Chess 3 Part 2
They should
Gotta be honest. This Chess 3 sounded more like Magic the Noah style of gaming
I hope they do chess 5
this is honestly one of my favorites on so many levels.
Mark's chaotic chess is up there with Bob's tabletop RPG in terms of hilarious quality.
"Thats a big word for elmo" Had me almost in tears. Bob really came out of nowhere and actually made me crack up!

I loved this! We need more episodes of games like this!
omg the board is reversed i only just noticed the pieces should switch sides LMAO
They took over eachother’s kingdoms and went back to their original in the end, it’s canon
you know it's a good podcast when Bob complains about rng, even though it's RANDOM CHANCE
Love this. It's chess meets D and D.
This entire episode takes me back to 3rd grade when every game we played was just as made up and just as thrilling!
Always good to see a new episode of distractible
Why did they play it sideways 😂
If they watched Criminal Minds, they should’ve known how to spell Zugzwang

I want a part two so they can make a very evil opening joke
I love that I kept seeing ads for "Bob's Red Mill". It's the little things. 😂
I was not expecting Bobbert to create The Flood in Chess but that feels like it's on me
this whole episode is a homestuck reference and yes it is a poison in my mind. i heard "abscond" and it clicked
if only the rules were clear... part 2 does need to be done, as I am sure this could have been more.
CHESS 3 HAS ARRIVED ON RUclips ALL IS WELL
Okay but I'm actually going to play this

They're so bad at guessing the spellings ... I'm not even a native speaker and I would have gotten more of them correct
