I wasn't always a fan of Samantha on the show, however, I knew there was a little something about her early on that seemed promising. I think it was during episode 2 or 3, one of the white girls was crying her eyes out over literally nothing (it might have been Harriet), and Samantha wasn't buying her tears at all.
