Honestly, this could be termed as the most valueable podcast series by far. The guests are well established and are on top of their field of study. Well done Smitha Ji. Appreciate your efforts. 🙏
so much clarity of thought, knowledge and so articulate. wasn't even aware that Foreign sec. Shringla dealt with Howdy modi event, it was grand and had great reception in the US,heard it from my cousins who went there to see it. Also, good to know that foreign policy is in hands of highly professional people. getting work done in highly stressful time is testimony of great administrator. Pm Modi and Dr. jaishankar have built a good team indeed.
Great to see the diversity of topics and guests who are part of Smita ji's podcast. Gives lot of perspective on India's rising clout. We have definitely come a long way from where S M Krishna read the speech of another country to where we are able to decide who are our partners and who were deal with. Kudos to Dr Jaishankar, Harsh sir and the entire team. Way to go India!!
Thanks to the ANI team for a very interesting interview with Ambassador Shringla. His insights regarding the changing nature of India's foreign service from the Nehruvian era to the present, speaks to the dynamic nature of the profession in the world of international relations. Wonderful to know from Mr. Shringla that India's views and input, particularly from PM Modi, are actively sought in international fora and that a lot of positive changes in bilateral relations between India and other countries, including the U.S., are sometimes influenced by non traditional channels, such as the personal relationship between leaders, as well as by the role of a country’s overseas community, which in India’s case, is the Indian diaspora in the U.S., in particular. A peek into how Indian diplomats are trained for their role on a larger world stage today ( from the Indian perspective) , as well as the resources dedicated to this, would also be interesting. In the past, one often read that India’s diplomatic corp was always resource-constrained, particularly in comparison with the diplomatic corps of other countries, like those of Western Europe and the U.S Also, how are they trained to reflect and articulate the new de-colonial attitude that is growing in Indian society?.
Nothing worked for me but your podcast worked liked a magic for me in improving my English Smita ji. Please carry on with your podcasts. All these episodes are awesome
Great discussion. What an articulate person. I hope government doesn’t leave him and utilise him in every possible way. Smita ji I really liked how you did wait for your employee to arrange the table and then thank her.
ANI thank you for inviting and giving platform to such great hidden gems....absolute pleasure to hear to him...laying foundations by such stalwarts in all the departments under the leadership of MODIJI has very bright and prosperous furture for the country
Wonderful podcast, we see the face of the ministry and our PM when the thing happens but it is people like Mr. Shringla and his team who execute on ground and together as a team they make us proud of how India is growing !!!
Mr Singla has been a very successful diplomat, his tenure has been very challenging , particularly in the light of Covid, change of guard in US. He is an unassuming gentleman and down to earth. Best of luck for him.
Fabulous to hear Mr. Harsh Vardhan's responses to the well covered questions. It's great to look into the level of clarity that our foreign diplomats analytically carry about domestic and international affairs and trends.
The capacity to be imaginative , audacious and stubborn in our pursuance of bold new objectives defines this govt and its adjuncts. It is not clear how it will actually lead to early , tangible outcomes but it will be a discovery process that we will embark on. Do we dare to explore and dive in ? Indeed we do. Spinoffs will always materialise when we persist and refuse to give up and let our shoulders droop. This is an opportunity to play leader and inspire others to look upto us. Sagacity and statesemanship are needed but we sense that we have those attributes in abundant measure.
Tnku do much Ani for this wonderful nd divers podcast बहुत ज्यादा मजा आया ,,,, आपसे एक आशा है कि जैसे हमारी सरकाR G 20 KO pure देश में ले जा रही है , ap भी कोशिश करे की हिंदी और क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में पॉडकास्ट आए ,, जिससे आपके show ki reach pure देश में हो ♥️ lots of love from uttarakhand ANI
Thanks ANI team… one of the worthful episodes… got to know so much… Could you please invite Dr. Karan Singh ji on your show (possessing 80 years of experience in public life, HE would be a treasure for your show) Thanks 🙏
Dear Smita you and your team doing great job. I started liking your podcast series. Certainly their will be few who will see them from different views/Lense but keep doing this. Please call ppl from all walk of life. Even you can think of calling Padma Shri awardees who off late make news those ladies and men's who are not that famous but did fabulous jobs and contributed to nation in their own unique way. call few industrialists who inspires and only few upcoming stars ( avoid charsis from Bollywood and star kids for sure). I mean call those whos life stories inspires and there something to take life lessons from. call group of doctors nurses who did great job in covid as to how was that. Few sportsman as how their other side of glamourous life looks like and all hardship they have done. ... Thank you.
Smita Parkash is a charming host. Like so many other people, she uses several thinking that it was a synonym for many. Several means more than two but not many.
First of all thanks Akash bhai... I've trust on you... And just because of your honest review... I feel happy... I went to theatre with my all students of class 10th today.(I am a teacher) And everyone liked it
Harsh Vardhan shringla has been Frank on the Trump question and yet diplomatic on all the others. As a upsc aspirant myself I can relate to the motivation to put the foreign service as the first preference
News u can get it on twitter, facebook & google too & because of that many news outlets are struggling not just here but across the world. ANI starting this Podcast is a way forward for news outlets to stay relevant.
Smita, it's the IFS . So maybe we could jump the gun a little . My question is, we have S Jaishankar now, but a decade or maybe earlier , who is on the top rung, groomed to replace him? Are they as competent?
Smita ji, thoda Naveen ji ko bhi questions karne ka chance diya hota! 1. Naveen ji asked about what was Shrungla ji's secret to stay covid negative, you brushed his question away. 2. Naveen ji asked about Mamata ji relationship with Shrungla ji, u dumbed it to CM relationship level. I am pretty sure Shringla ji wud have answered ur question as well while addressing Naveen ji's question 3. I felt nowhere did u take a breath to let Naveen ji also chime in some questions. It was though he was not necessary there. But good points on your side u asked Shringla ji to explain what happened during discussions more than just General and saada responses we get from MEA. I have seen other countries clearly explain responses and what they feel except India who give more of philosophical responses than info on actual talk. So thank u on bringing that up
WHAT A FANTASTIC AND LEARNED MAN . SUPER GENIUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE DIPLOMAT. ASTUTE DIPLOMAT. VERY MATURE HUMAN. HIS EXPERIENCE AND PROWESS OF DIPLOMACY WILL BE A HUGE ASSET TO US.
Shri Harsh Vardhan. Shingla is my favourite Foreign Secretary. He is a jewel in India's foreign service. After Dr S Jaishankar I think he is the one who could become Foreign Minister or could hold some portfolio in Modi Government after 2024.
ANI: As our country is going to present out culture to the world in G20 presidency year, I urge you to kindly renovate the interiors commensurate with Indian culture
thank you for the video madam. please try to interview Abhijit Chavda and Jai Sai Deepak in the same interview along with Abhijit Iyer. it would be the best interview of the year 2023. eagerly waiting
It is NOT in the interest of BHARAT till Pakistan provide “ Deradicalization road map” such as 1. Close madrassas 2. No religious teaching till 18 yrs 3. Teach true history 4. Remove Blasphemy law and provide equal rights . 5. Hand over terrorists to India and close terror camps and hand over illegally occupied POK. Start with # 1
Smita, one suggestion...do let your guest finish their sentences and thoughts before you jump in with your next question. Cutting off people in the middle of what they are saying is rather rude. You might get an idea or hit upon a subject you want to explore further as you hear them speak which is okay, but we the audience want to hear what the speaker is saying before we hear your follow--up question. Otherwise, the conversation becomes uneven and less enjoyable.
In an ironic way, Jinnah greatly helped India by keeping the majority of Jihadi population out of India. Without the partition, Muslim population of undivided India would have been 40% of the population. Being ideological and group thinking, Muslims would have pushed jihadi religious politics, which would have greatly hindered India's growth. Therefore, Indians should be greatly thankful to Jinnah for the partition of India. 🙏🏽🇮🇳🙏🏽😊

Without taking away anything from their professional competency, like our EAM Dr Jai Shankar, Mr Harsh Vardhan is such nice gentleman.
