Question: Machine I want to connect to already must be logged in? I tried to connect to my Ubuntu Desktop from Windows 10, I am able to connect and got it working but my Ubuntu was already logged in. When I log out from Ubuntu and try to connect to it again from Windows 10, it wouldn't connect anymore?
Thanks! You could do a part 2 and dive into some of the other features and setup

Wait... You can only use it on the same network? This is useless to me.
I can get in with the guest but our computer does not have a password so It's confusing to be able to log on. Any tips?
If the account doesn't use a password. You dont need to enter one. If it gives issues just make a temp password
can i remote using different network using nomachine?
It's easy on same ip adress, but so difficult with another ip for the second computer.
I can only connect to other computer in the same network. It doesn't connect to computer in external network. There is something else to be done
i believe on the step he said "don't use a proxy" you're suppose to choose "use a proxy" to be able to connect to device outside of your network.
Thank you!
IDK but mine is taking forever to respond after i insert user name and password.
You might want to check your network traffic and also look at task manager to see if anything is eating resources

how to know password
Enter the password of the computer you are remoting to. If that remote computer does not have a password just leave the password field blank
