    I just got this delivered to me this morning from Target, and I already love it. Praying that it lasts me the whole year the I feed my daughter. She's 3 weeks old.

      Are you planning on EP or breastfeeding or a mixture of both? Will you return to work eventually?

    Thank you for this! I just switched to a spectra and didnt know how to start the let down phase. However, i disagree with " highest you can tolerate". I did that and it crushed my ducts closed. It took a while to figure out the problem and affected my milk supply. Lactation consultant in the NICU said to go with the lowest setting that works

      I’m glad you found it. The highway setting you can tolerate WITHOUT ANY PAIN. that’s the important part. We don’t go high just to go high. Also - improper fit flanges can do that. It’s common to be poorly fit. Not sure how far you’re into your lactation - but that nipple diameter measurement makes a huge difference. My video on that.

      This is also an easy way to measure with items around the house. instagram.com/p/CpKvDNduxcZ/?igshid=ajh1aWd4bmZzdmRs

      @DoneNaturally thank you so much! I will definitely have a look at these. I sized up to 27mm, but it was just a guess. I'll use your videos to measure properly :)

    • @DoneNaturally
      @DoneNaturally  9 месяцев назад +1

      @@s.a.w5493 That’s pretty large. I bet you don’t need that large size and likely the culprit to some of your troubles. It’s so rare for someone to even need a 24mm. Most women measure between 10-19mm and use a 15-21mm flange.

    Hi, I like your videos a lot. Such crystal clear information presented in a beautiful way. Thank you for all your effort. I have a doubt regarding my milk supply. I am a mom of 1.5 month old baby. I haven’t been able to breastfeed the baby due to very low milk supply. and on top of that I have been using a very wrong huge size flange(which I realised only after seeing your up-to-date video) and due to pain I got very lazy pumping once a day or so. So supply has really dried up to a few drops. Will I still be able to bring back the supply and eventually breastfeed the baby if I start using the correct flange size and pump regularly. It is already 1.5 months postpartum. Waiting for your valuable reply..

      Thank you so much! I’m glad you like them! You basically would be starting Re-Lactation. So yes, proper fit flanges, begin pumping 8X/d again, have lots of grace patience with yourself and give it a couple of weeks to see what your body can do! 💛

    tengo una pregunta ojalá alguien me lo responda se supone que la bomba es silenciosa o si hace ruido en el proceso por qué la mía no es silenciosa.

    • @safa5033
      @safa5033 9 месяцев назад

      It isn’t noise free because the motor is providing vaccum suction. I wouldn’t say it’s noisy just vibrates powerfully and the sucks create noise.

    Is the vacuum control for both breasts? I’m finding that my breasts need different vacuum levels using my medela pump.

    • @DoneNaturally
      @DoneNaturally  Год назад

      Yes. The only pump that allows for differing vacuum settings per breast is Spectra Gold.

    If not concerned about funds, which breast pump would you recommend for a mom of twins? Thank you

    • @DoneNaturally
      @DoneNaturally  2 года назад +3

      Twins I would urge a mom to rent the Medela Symphony. Insurance provided pumps are all only occasional use pumps with a more limited motor life capacity. The Symphony is designed for 1000s of hours of pumping like for NICU, prematurity, Twins, cardiac babies etc. The other pumps aren’t designed for that type of pumping.
