It was amazing. Most realistic animations. Here even jumpshoot animations look strange..
Next gen gameplay is the truth this year. Can't even lie. I was doubting 2k hard on release. They brought back defense, balance, newer rewards that give you attribute points, badges are easier to get, an the gta feel about next gen and the city go hard. The whole career works with the city. That's tough.

So proud of Mike Wang and the 2k dev team, for giving us such a quality game, on their current gen build. The amount of improvements they made from 2k21 to 2k22, is astounding. It seems as if they read every Reddit post, Operation Sports, RUclips uploaders and their comment sections etc. And addressed almost every issue, that plagued the game from being great last year (which I know the pandemic may have had played a huge role, in why the game was so below par). Although the "stiff necks" are still in the game on some players' jumpshot animations lol. This is definitely giving me 2k11 vibes all over again (sorry woes, I missed the "2k 16" 🌊, I didn't have a system at the time). From gameplay, to presentation and everything in between, in which we judge in what makes a quality game, were improved, in this iteration of NBA 2k. From the team specific PA announcers, to having the next gen broadcast team as well (Brian Anderson Grant Hill and Allie LeForce).. revamped dribbling system reminiscent of 2k 19's... and there's actually DEFENSE in the game this year (which somehow makes offense that much more fun and rewarding, instead of just being cheesy like in "2k21"). I was a little worried with the lack of information that was put out there pre release for 2k22 (was thinking they were trying to hide a copy and repasted bad game alla like that gaming company with the heah coach's name in their main officially licensed NFL title).. but man, thankfully my worries ended up just being speculative, and not factual. Great job 2k team. Will definitely be playing this game, for the entire duration, of this next development cycle. Even purchased the cross gen bundle, so that if and when I do get a PS5, I'll have it on there as well. 80 usd well spent. As far as that football title I mentioned that should remain anonymous.. let's just say.. I deserve to get my download time back lol (it was/is free to play, the 9th-12th).
