Hello Andy! My Daddie (grandpa) taught me how to fish when I could barely walk. My first catch ever was when he told me he had to get a drink & asked little toddler me to “hold his line”. He’d caught a small perch & wore it out quietly while I was staring at my bobber. Apparently this is a trick he pulled on every one of his kids & grandkids. 😂 We lost him many years ago, but watching you feels like hanging out with him, watching the poles.
Even as a young girl I have been interested in fishing. When my dad would go fishing, I would go with and play with the fish in the bucket that he had caught. You really remind of those times and I really am grateful for you! Thank you Mr Andy❤ my father loves youe content as well❤

Some get away and you show that with grace, humility, and patience. Attributes society needs more examples like you to follow.

My grandpa was my father figure in childhood and we spent probably years worth of hours together fishing from as early in life as I can hold a memory up until he just couldn’t do it anymore. i totally agree. I’ve never watched fishing videos before, but these remind me of being with my grandparents on the chesapeake bay. it warmed my heart, those were easier times when i was young. we all could use a little peace, so i am letting the videos play in the background while i am cooking. many thanks to andy for making my day.
I had planned a fishing trip with my dad on my boat the day before he committed suicide. I’ve since sold my boat because I can’t stand to be out there fishing without him. Breaks my heart to do it without him. Watching you fish kinda fills that void I have these days. Thanks Andy, keep it up ❤
Lost my Dad last year. He loved my old boat. It's in pretty bad shape you can tell, but he was constantly bragging on it. Every time I complained, he'd say "There's been a lot of fish caught in this ole boat!" I don't know if you're quite up for it yet but going fishing might be way better medicine than watching me fish...Hoping you heal...

You shouldn’t pressure him to be someone hes not. Not sayin he doesnt have a calm personality or anything like that, but fishing is very frustrating sometimes. He shouldnt have to restrain himself just because the camera is on. Don’t make him think people will judge him for expressing emotions. I know thats not what you were getting at, its just id imagine its pretty overwhelming to get 500k people to follow you in just 1 night lol
@@maggotx133 you arent trying to pressure him. But in a recent video of his he talked about how what we saw on camera wasnt his full self and that he could just edit parts that he didnt like out. He explained that now that he has so many people watching him hes a bit camera shy and feels like he cant be himself anymore. You’re only making this situation worse by saying stuff like that. You dont realize it but you are restricting him from being himself with all his emotions. Sure its a bit negative but its something you need to hear. Have some social awareness

My dad was an avid fisherman. Some of my best memories from my childhood was fishing with him. I have kept it up since he passed. I have learned how to restring my line, how to tie a knot when attaching a hook and to release after the catch. ❤ Keep on fishing Andy! I know I will! ❤

I always fish with chicken. Fishing with chicken as bait can be surprisingly effective! Chicken can attract a variety of fish species, so its most of the time fun way to enjoy a day on the water🎣🍗 Thanks for the Video Andy!

I don’t know if you’ll read this but since finding you here on RUclips I’ve healed a little and that’s thanks to your videos. My grandpa was my father figure in childhood and we spent probably years worth of hours together fishing from as early in life as I can hold a memory up until he just couldn’t do it anymore. I miss him and our time together so much. The fishing commentary to views and snacks. Thank you for making these videos and thank you for healing a little part of my grief I carry. Keep being amazing and yourself ❤

i totally agree. I’ve never watched fishing videos before, but these remind me of being with my grandparents on the chesapeake bay. it warmed my heart, those were easier times when i was young. we all could use a little peace, so i am letting the videos play in the background while i am cooking. many thanks to andy for making my day.
I had planned a fishing trip with my dad on my boat the day before he committed suicide. I’ve since sold my boat because I can’t stand to be out there fishing without him. Breaks my heart to do it without him. Watching you fish kinda fills that void I have these days. Thanks Andy, keep it up ❤

Lost my Dad last year. He loved my old boat. It's in pretty bad shape you can tell, but he was constantly bragging on it. Every time I complained, he'd say "There's been a lot of fish caught in this ole boat!" I don't know if you're quite up for it yet but going fishing might be way better medicine than watching me fish...Hoping you heal...

You shouldn’t pressure him to be someone hes not. Not sayin he doesnt have a calm personality or anything like that, but fishing is very frustrating sometimes. He shouldnt have to restrain himself just because the camera is on. Don’t make him think people will judge him for expressing emotions.

@@maggotx133 you arent trying to pressure him. But in a recent video of his he talked about how what we saw on camera wasnt his full self and that he could just edit parts that he didnt like out. He explained that now that he has so many people watching him hes a bit camera shy and feels like he cant be himself anymore. You’re only making this situation worse by saying stuff like that.
You dont realize it but you are restricting him from being himself with all his emotions. Sure its a bit negative but its something you need to hear.

Everything else was fine but the first sentence might make him feel like he has to keep a standard in his vids. I didnt really mean apologies since it really wasnt as big of a deal as i made it out to be (pissy day), but at least you get it.
The thing that is magical and unique about a channel like this is we are all here for you as a person and your hobby of fishing. We expect nothing from you other than what you have already provided us. You are just a genuine man and thats rare these days. All we want is to see you fishing and enjoying your day. Keep it up. My dad was an avid fisherman. Some of my best memories from my childhood was fishing with him. I have kept it up since he passed. I have learned how to restring my line, how to tie a knot when attaching a hook and to release after the catch. ❤ Keep on fishing Andy! I know I will! ❤

I always fish with chicken. Fishing with chicken as bait can be surprisingly effective! Chicken can attract a variety of fish species, so its most of the time fun way to enjoy a day on the water🎣🍗
