I think that Toho make this idea as a spinoff series called "Godzilla Jr: Heil to The King". It would be a Kaiju-styled coming of age story inspired by The Lion King or The King's Speech that would have Jr making the choice of whether to continue his father's destructive legacy and attack humanity or whether to defend humanity (since they technically raised him first) and get the other kaiju (Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus) to work with him to help defend humanity from global threats.
The series would also give a lot more characterization and emotions to Godzilla Jr. He and the other kaiju would have dialogue in the form of subtitled roars or telepathic conversations with Miki Saegusa or Mothra's twin fairies.
this would have been perfect, Heisei Godzilla series is the greatest and imo thats what would have made so much sense in future films was to continue at least 1 or 2 movies of Godzilla Jr becoming the king of the monsters.
It nearly was. He was an adult Junior very late into production. Also he was supposed to fight an alien monster that looked like a bubble and was to be fully CGI.
Honestly, an idea of Godzilla Jr vs Mechani-Kong, sounds like a really interesting story, to be honest. Also, I might be thinking about doing an Godzilla fanfiction story based on this though.
I really enjoyed this idea, as the Heisei series was my introduction to the Godzilla franchise so it holds a special place in my heart. And thinking how Junior would carry his father legacy would be interesting and I think this would make for a great film. I can actually picture it in my head watching this video. Though if I were to cheese it out, even if Kong is dead in this continuity, I would have him appear in some form in the film... maybe have Kong's face superimposed on Mechani-Kong's, roaring before the machine goes berserk and went on a rampage and having his spirit floating from the wreckage after being destroyed by Junior, finally being able to rest in peace... something like that, but that's just me though, haha. I look forward to next video on your what if Junior trilogy :D

I like to think this film would be soft-canon to the De Laurentiis Kong duology, with the same events happening, but the Kong's being relocated to live out their days on Skull Island after the events of the second film, with the Kong skeleton found here being that of the original. That could potentially leave Baby Kong open for an actual duel with Junior, I say soft-canon due to the height differences. Also, Lady Kong dies in the years between, with Skull Island being just as barbaric a land as usual. It's also a nice way to have both scrapped treatments of the cancelled ideas in your new vision, which is great by the way, keep it up!
Here are some idea's for "What if's" What if: Godzilla and Jet Jaguar fought two Megalon's? What if: An adult Mothra and two larva fought King Ghidorah along side Godzilla and Rodan in Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster (1964)? What if: The two Mothra larva were in Invasion of Astro-Monster (1965)? What if: What if King Kong was with Godzilla in Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster?" What if: Baragon had his own stand alone film like Rodan and Mothra? What if: The Xiliens were the villains in Destroy all Monsters instead of the Kilaaks?
@@lucienhalf7105 Thanks for the like. I've been writing my own version of Godzilla vs. Megalon. It's titled, "Godzilla vs. The Megalon Brother’s: The Undersea Kingdoms' SOS Strategy". In the beginning of my story, its not the nuclear tests that destroy Monster Island, it is Megalon. But instead of one, there are two Megalon's. Both are robot's representing Seatopia’s ancient guardians. It causes a volcanic eruption and earthquake on the island, sending the monsters fleeing except for Godzilla. After a battle, Godzilla chases Megalon to Japan. Goro and Hiroshi see the second Megalon after it drains the water from Lake Kitayama. Instead of being villain's, the Seatopian’s are victims of the nuclear tests and help Goro improve Jet Jaguar. I also improved and expanded on Seatopia's history and cut out the part about them being allies with the M Space Nebula aliens since it's never explained how they came to know each other. So no Gigan in my story. I made Goro and Hiroshi brothers instead of friends in the movie. In the film there was no given reason why JJ was created. But now there is. In a flashback, you learn that JJ was a project by Goro and Hiroshi's parents for the propose of fighting monsters until they are both killed during Gigan and King Ghidorah's rampage through Tokyo in Godzilla vs. Gigan. It's not the most original idea. You see it in other tokusatsu shows, but what else are you going to do with a giant robot. Let it fight monsters, no duh! Jet Jaguar is later upgraded in the story as an advanced A.I. and can talk just like in Godzilla SP. He has new abilities, ranging from a finishing move called the Plasma Beam from his wrists when crossed in a X fashion. So there! I just fixed the movie! What do you think? Do any of you have any ideas that can improve Godzilla vs. Megalon? Let me know.
I always thought that with Junior and his connection with Miki you would have had a plasuible way to do Godzilla as a "good guy" while still keeping with the tone of the Heisei era movies. It would still be a fragile peace however.
Toho should do a Godzilla Jr solo series that involves Jr trying to fill the shoes of his father's legacy. It would be more of coming of age story in the style of either The Lion King or The Karate Kid.
The series would also give a lot of characterization to Godzilla Jr as we see him make a tough decision about whether to continue his father's legacy of destroying humanity for all the pain they caused to his species or whether to help defend the humans (since they technically raised him before Godzilla did) and get the other Kaiju (Mothra, Rodan, Baragon, etc) to work together to defeat global threats.
The monsters that should appear in the concept for a Godzilla Jr spinoff series goes as follows: - Godzilla Jr - Heisei Godzilla (in flashbacks and in spirit form (mainly as mentor role)) - Anguirus (as kind of another father figure to Jr) - Mothra - Rodan Jr - Baragon - More of Godzilla's species (work with Jr and other Kaiju as a family) - Deutalios - Bagan - RedMoon Idea for one of the Kaiju fights: Godzilla Jr and Mothra working together to fight Deutalios at a Kaiju festival in Seattle
So Godzilla Jr Would have fought Against Kong? It would have been a great battle to see for the Heisei Series, Even though the only Heisei Era King Kong film we got as 1986's King Kong Lives.
I always think a creative sequel Godzilla Jr continued the Heisei series would be called “Godzilla Battles the Gargantuas” and the original forms of the Gargantuas will be the “Sandapithecus” and the “Gairapithecus”
Here are my What ifs requests What if: angurious was in godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla What if: king ghidorah and rodan were in godzilla Tokyo sos What if: destroyah was in godzilla vs kong What if: ghidorah was the bad guy and godzilla the good guy in gmk What if: godzilla final wars was connected to the heisei series What if: angurious was in the monsterverse What if: the 2015 gamera movie was made What if: a gamera anime movie made by polygon pictures was released in 2020 What if: godzilla had an disney animated movie What if: godzilla vs gamera was made in the monsterverse in 2028
I also have a take on the Heisei era, except that it's based off the Game Boy version of Godzilla, King of the Monsters. It starts after the events of The Return of Godzilla. There are only five parts, so for those of you who are reading this, welcome to the Heisei Remastered era! Part 1: Godzilla vs Hedorah II. The year is 1986, and Japan has just rebuilt Tokyo after Godzilla destroyed it two years ago, and was also trapped in Mount Mihara. One day on March, US satellites detect a futuristic capsule flying towards Earth, which is holding something inside. The capsule crashes in the Pacific Ocean, where it releases a creature, which has a black body made out of gas, and creepy eyes. It swims to Japan in order to find a power plant to get energy from. Eventually, it reaches Osaka Bay, and quickly finds a power plant. It kills the workers and starts to absorb the energy. As it is doing so, the creature suddenly begins to transform into what resembles a disk, only with eyes and a hump. The JSDF are quickly sent to the area where the creature has been sighted. Named "Hedorah" it quickly destroys the JSDF's forces by using its Hedrium Ray. Meanwhile at Mount Mihara, a sleeping Godzilla's sixth sense senses Hedorah, and wanting to kill the kaiju, breaks out of the volcano, which causes it to erupt. Godzilla quickly makes his way towards Hedorah, who is destroying Osaka. However, he gets hit by a blue beam, which causes him to crash into a skyscraper. Godzilla has arrived. Hedorah quickly flies back up, and fires his Hedrium Ray at Godzilla, who gets hit by the attack and responds with his atomic breath, hitting Hedorah in the process. The two then go back and forth for a while until Hedorah tackles Godzilla to the ground. Enraged, Godzilla bites Hedorah and flings him into a building. Godzilla then fires his atomic breath, but Hedorah quickly dodges it and fires his Hedrium Ray. Godzilla fires his atomic breath, and the two beams collide. However, Godzilla's atomic breath quickly overpowers Hedorah's Hedrium Ray, causing him to get sent flying to Osaka Bay. Godzilla quickly fires his atomic breath at the spot where Hedorah was sent into the bay afterwards. Thinking he killed Hedorah, Godzilla roars in victory, then looks for another power plant in order to heal from the battle. He quickly finds one, and soon, he is all healed up. However, just as he his about to head into Osaka Bay, his sixth sense senses Kamacuras, Kumonga, Gabara, and Manda. He then changes his course to Mount Fuji, determined to kill the four kaiju. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the first half of Godzilla vs Hedorah II! There will be a second part next week. Thank you for reading this story, and what did you think of it? Let me know in the reply section down below.

Idea for one of the Kaiju fights: Godzilla Jr and Mothra working together to fight Deutalios at a Kaiju festival in Seattle
That would be cool if they continue heisei series
This is what started it all
Godzilla jr. is doomed to eventually starve to death, considering nuclear energy is banned in the Futurians' timeline.
Maybe Jr would go the legendary route and feed off natural radiation sources from the earth? Maybe not instable uranium deposits though.
Didn’t he eat flowers as a baby tho
That wouldn’t be viable anymore because he’s a fully grown Godzilla he can only absorbed radiation now
