There's still so much room for improvement as an all motor setup. It was even bumping the 1-2 shift all night. the timeslip showed 1 tenth slowdown down low to the 330'. (i wasnt able to make tuning changes from last season). Its not even close to a max effort setup. Weight Reduction will be the Next Focus to go deeper 10s

I know those 3:73 rear gears caused high rpm on a daily driver with the 4 speed automatics. How do the 3:91 gears do for rpm on the 6 speed automatics?

So I'm thinking the 6 speed has a better overdrive gear than the 4 speed automatics. I still have the stock converter but will upgrade to the 3:91 gears for a better launch. It's a daily driver and I don't want to shorten the life of the transmission (so I'm told a stall will do).

@@JishuaKataldo I got years out of my stalled 4l60e in a GTO because I ran the proper trans cooler. It's all about keeping them cool. Same with most transmissions. I feel like most people don't get a trans cooler and trans temp gauge then blame the trans for "sucking" lol

It'll make it harder to hook. They aren't necessary if you got a good stall converter
Gotta get that reaction time down to .1 or less. Try leaving as soon as you see the 3rd bulb light up.
Lol reaction time doesn't mean squat. E.t. doesn't start until you break the beams

Thanks man. I haven't dyno'd it on the new N/A setup but it made 451whp before the bigger cam and Ported Heads. It's around 500whp tho

@@The1st60ft wow I’m close to Same mods as you with 17x11 drag pack and I get wheel hop when I launch. Bought toe rods and trailing arms hoping that fixes it.
@@gabewilson1707 I had to go to Cecil County for that good prep. I was having some wheel chatter issues at Atco. I thought it was my car but turned out to be the track

No delay. He’s not out to race everybody in the other lane. He’s there for times. And the timer doesn’t start until he launches and trips the beam.
