I've been catching up with your episodes for the last week and I legitimately cried with laughter at the kitkat bit... Just Jack trying to explain what a kitkat senses is... This is the quality content I am here for
fast food-burger king fries, mcdonald's mcnuggets, kfc hot wings. meal deal(tesco)-sweet chilli little wraps, hot n spicy nik naks, big red bull. favourite pod so far!
- Boots = best meal deal purely for profit margin potential. - Most salt and vinegary crisps are Mackies, they literally burn your tongue, top tier crisp quality. - Also this is possibly the most British podcast I have ever heard
I used to work for an M&S food section of a shop and all the prices were insanely high and almost nobody bought the meal deal. The most bought sandwich was a cranberry’s sauce Xmas one (I only worked there around Christmas) but it was £4 on its own. And the meal deal only included the cheapest sandwiches like ham and cheese and that kinda shit, ones which were only about £2.30. Only about 4 of the the 20 odd sandwiches were actually in the meal deal so the “loophole” of buying the most expensive things in the meal deal didn’t work. Oh and the meal deal was £4.50
Morrisons got a bangin meal deal; Drink: Monster, Red bull Snack: Sushi, Yogurt, So much more. Sandwhich: 3 meat sandwiches, Big sushi box( 12 pieces), cajun chicken wrap, much more.
Retrospect skate my local bp is an m and s food, I had to pop in for petrol the other day and as I had a uni assignment that was due at midnight I thought I would buy a curry ready meal for tea £5 for the curry and £5 for the rice. I nearly fainted at the till 😂
Last meal: sorry I have a lot of opinions on this podcast Entree: I don’t like to eat before mains in case I get full but if I had to have an entree, probably garlic bread or potato skins Main: roast lamb dinner, crispiest roast potatoes, pumpkin and carrot, spit roast lamb with chargrill skin and a delicious rich beef gravy and Yorkshire pudding Dessert: chocolate and vanilla swirl cheesecake, with a side of rich proper chocolate mousse.
Tesco Meal Deal- Ploughman's Cheddar Sandwich Red Bull (as large as possible) Grab Bag Quavers ------------------------------- Side of Salmon Sushi if you are feeling particularly peckish
Chinese I go for either Singapore noodles or chicken fried rice with curry sauce. Chips from a takeaway are ranked Burger King, KFC, McDonald's. Boots meal deal I go for their breakfast sandwich which is on baked bean bread, in Tesco it's got to be the breakfast triple! You've always got to have the smoothie and a grab bag of crisps, preferably McCoy's steak. Co-Op have a great choice in sides. As mentioned in the podcast, the satay skewers, but they also let you have a sausage roll or a Ginster's pasty.
Could not agree with you more fam, salt and vinegar Pringles and McCoy’s are great, and definitely the most salt and vinegar. Discos are also pretty slay and vinegary too
When it comes to tea dipping! The ultimate is to get a KitKat chunky, bite the 2 ends off, use it as a straw and suck the tea up through it. Not for too long though only until the tea reaches your mouth then maybe add a couple of seconds then eat the KitKat. You can thank me later 🙂
6:50 - Usually every other Friday night I'd stumble into the local Chinese Takeaway from the pub and order a Chinese Chicken Curry, Chips & Egg Fried Rice and mix it all together on a plate when I got home.. Bloody delish when you're hammered!
I put off watching this cos it sounded really boring but I never realised how much potential it had to be relatable and it’s gotta be one of the best podcasts on this channel
Best chocolate: peanut M & Ms, fruit and nut DM and boost. Last meal: rare steak, grilled tomatoes and onions with fries and salad. And can't believe doritos wasn't on for best chrisps.
Jordan knows the score coop meal deals are belter. Chicken and bacon or chicken and sweetcorn as the butty possibly chicken and baconk ceasar wrap, snack either chicken satays, fruit pot, chocolate brownie or if you wanna maximise spending then a pastie the drink either red bull, water, cherry pepsi max, cold latte or original lucozade sorted for the day
Cooking the bones down in water is how real gravy is made anyways. Also, I too used to work in KFC, we make it up in the backroom with a powder, water and the microwave. Pour the gravy powder into a big (they were yellow where I worked) plastic tub, fill the tub to the fill line, which was 2 litres I believe and then microwave it for SOOOO long you inevitably burn every part of your fucking body from the steam, trying to pour it into those little tubs! Iirc, you microwave it for 8 mins, whisk and then 12 mins. Baring in mind I stopped working there almost 10 years ago now. Edit: meant to write "people not stopping exactly on the fill line is why the consistency is different alot of the time"
Finally I can witness an *elite* debate.

Good one. Satay is made mostly of peanut
