Hello Dr jack, what type of sample tube is most appropriate for blood collection in CBA assay.
    Thank you

For human samples a heparinised vacutube is best. For animal work I normally use a heparinised needle (or sodium citrate) then dispense into a 2ml centrifuge tube. It's important to take the needle off before ejecting the blood, if you force it through the needle you will lyse your cells. Then centrifuge the tube at ~500g for 5 minutes, take the plasma off the top, leave the pellet, and run the CBA on the plasma.
