Ingredients
Malabar spinach - 1 bunch
Onion sliced - 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1 tbsp
Cooked pigeon pea lentils - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 1 tsp
TO GRIND
Fresh coconut- 1 cup
Red chillies - 3 nos.
Tamarind - Marble sized
TO TEMPER
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Onion sliced - 1/4 cup
SERVES - 4 people

" vaali ambat" we konkanis don't season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves. Just use onions. Try raw papaya along with malabar spinach.
