stumbled upon this video at work. As someone who is going through a transitional period in life, this is such a great motivator. It's really true how many people just go into hibernation mode around Thanksgiving, auto pilot through December and January, and then try to reboot through February. It's kind of like we were all conditioned to do that. Thank you for putting into perspective that these are still 4 total months that you can use to change your life if you really want to. I'm really glad I found this

@@ClintonomoBay I think it’s in our biology to sit back and hibernate, but what is so unique about humans is that we don’t have to do that anymore. We’ve evolved to adapt to the winter and not have to worry about food or literal survival. Even a few hundred years ago it was significantly harder to deal with winters. Its funny cause I really debated posting this video because it’s lower quality, but I decided that if even one person finds something of value that it’s worth it :)

To lock in and level up first you must know what it is that you want. To know what it is you want, first I advocate that it be necessary that you understand who you are. And such a question, when answered, will guide all others towards a harmonious conclusion.
I understand there be need for trying, for going above and beyond, for moving forwards with life and meaning, for taking action. But there need be also a meaning behind my actions, not simply a striving for the sake of striving.
    Why the striving firstly?
    What is it towards?
    What meaning moves the action?
From where is the core of motivation finding it's inspiration?
What need for you might all this movement fill?
Action is always easy. I argue it's the lack of knowing what we want; the lack of knowing ourselves -- that makes goals hard to decide upon and thus achieve.
What if I told you that to Strive is to suffer? And that there is a freedom and a perfect peace available in every moment which always yours?
    Who are you?
    Why are you here?
Through what medium do you know the experience of Yourself, and Now?
Following passion need not be work at all. That I may be carried through my Gifts, and shown where they might be useful, instead of thinking blindly that to fulfill myself I must first prove worthy through action. I offer that through seeking self-knowing, all the rest falls into place.
Any goal can always be chosen and achieved. but why? to what end?
Self-Knowing is the antidote to stagnancy.
Self-Knowing is the antidote to effort and achievement, to work and struggle.
I encourage you to Lock In and Level Up your self compassion and knowledge. To build and cultivate further a loving and trusting relationship with yourself this winter, that your amazing energy might be concentrated towards the achievement of things which nourish the Truth of Life, instead of being achievement for the sake of proof. Move mountains towards compassion, love, unconditional acceptance.
Surrender is the only way. Surely, it's nice to revel in the moment of our achievements. But always we find them hollow, and the seeking as a need for striving. We may use achievement to distance ourselves from that gnawing void asking within, "why here and now?" which knows ourselves not as defined by our accolades, achievements, presentations, and well beyond our own small self-perceptions.
    Love Always.

Were you always like this or did you make a change? I mean personnality wise, willing to improve and have projects. Are your parents like this?
I only disagree that you can instantly find new people to hang out with. it's difficult making steps to find love... but otherwise good video!

@@smashmusique if I’m being honest I don’t have many friends, but in the sense of finding people with similar interests, I think we can find a community or creators that can be on the same wavelength :) I was very different growing up, I had a hard time but interestingly enough, after I had my son, I started to have this mindset change as I entered my 20s. Not sure if it’s my brain maturing or becoming a parent that really made that change, perhaps both! What I can say is that is was not an overnight change, it’s been very gradual
