SAD, SAD AMV.
It's about all the relationships of all the main characters of Layton.
I like Don Paolo so much. I think he's one of the most saddest characters (despite his 'comic' attutide) because of Claire. The girl he loved, chose another man and died like that. SO SAD.
Another story that I think is VERY, VERY sad is about Anton. Yeah, I think he has one of the most tragic backstory i've ever heard!
Like that is Dimitri, and obviously Layton, Luke and Clive.
But... I think Flora is another sad one. She leaves the town where she had lived for all those years (even if the villagers were robots, she is still attached to them), and when she comes to stay with Layton, he leaves ALWAYS Flora alone. Yeah, I think this IS sad.

This has been my go-to song for processing sadness (and staring out the window on long car trips) for ages, and then combined with my favorite story of all time? Ugh this is perfection! I can't believe I'm only finding this now, eleven years after it was posted...

Every game has made me cry so far... But especially diabolical box. I finished it on new years eve... So I was up all night bawling my eyes out. Kinda ruined my holiday- but I'll never forget it :)

Aww, very nice. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought Anton's story was much sadder than the Claire/Layton/Dimitri one. He's my favorite PL character. :') But I love both stories. I also felt really sorry for Clive. His story was really sad too. :'(
I think the 2nd game was the saddest. But I cried after the 2nd and 3rd game. I love all the stories about professor Layton!
Sounds pretty interesting actually. The real one was pretty sad, yet it was a fantastic story I'll say to agree.

I cried SO SO SO much at the end of Pandora's Box and not as much at the end of Lost Future... i mean imagine waiting so long for someone just to find out that they are dead ;A;

I thought of another sad story from the Layton game series, when Claire had to go back to her time and the professor was heartbroken.
Why did I watch this!? Dammit, now I'm crying T_T (I cried most for the 3rd one mainly because there were so many different things to cry for... Luke can't leave!!!)
Awesome! And your scenes are mostly high-quality with no subs. There are a few size inconsistencies and a few places where you can see the subs, but still a great video.^^

Darn you. This song was sad enough as it was, now when I listen to it I'll think of all of this depressing stuff! Great video, loved it.
Okay this is really epic and I'm really amazed at how well made it is but I was singing along to it for my voice teacher when I first heard it and the speaking caught me off guard so fast I thought it was someone coming up to the mic real close and making licking noises the first I heard that part and I couldn't take the rest of it seriously from then on-
Like I actually almost bust out laughing at the lil layclaire kiss a few seconds after and at the luke cry scene-
But seriously though this was really well made, good job gamer

i thought that the third was the saddest. if all the laytonXclaire story had been was her dying, id say that the second was the saddest. but, with the professor talking to her right before she goes back to die...its heartbreaking. but, i cried immensely at the end of all of them! (well, im not finished with the 4th yet, i have to make it last. XD but, im sure that one will make me cry, too.)
