Because we as Black Americans have been trained that Republicans are for the rich people and they are racists while Democrats are for the poor people. It is a known fact that Black folks just vote Democrat because that is what we are told by our parents to do or because that is what our parents did. To even dare to voice a difference in voting would be a big deal (it could get us disowned by family and friends, called and treated like a sell-out, and our black card revoked). It's a shame that our community acts this way internally but that is how it is. I think what he meant was jobs “traditionally” held y black people - often city jobs are held by blacks and the pay is great. (Example men on the garbage trucks.). Don’t yell at me. Aside from what I already stated. It's perplexing to me that he stated when it comes to Vance as a VP and to justify his actions and his would be incompetence as VP. The woman in blue closest to him is the one who was not only uncomfortable in the interview setting, she was anxious, attacked the former President, talked too fast, made statements, not asked questions, was hostile, interrupted him continuously, and was accusatory and just plain rude and obviously focused on racism, which I think says more about her than it does former President Mr. Trump, who has done so much to help black citizens of this country. The interviewer in blue is a hostile, racist, unprofessional waste of time. Be on time and leave the attitude behind. Ask meaningful questions, don't attack and get the facts straight before you start falsely accusing. What a waste of his precious time and energy with the woman in blue.

Now, delusional I don't think so, I worked in Trump tower in his Cafe on the first floor in Manhattan so I have met him personally from time to time. Yes he hired minorities as should any employer as long as they are qualified for the position. I'm not going there with the accusations about him being a full blown ignorant racist, Trump has always been a give them what they want to hear kind of guy. He's got his good attributes and some shifty ones but like I said earlier he looked so uncomfortable in that interview for a guy who walks in any room and usually dominates anyone who tries to attack him, it's in his DNA. It's bad to, without evidence, call a person a DEI hire. Because then you are saying a person who is not white can ONLY get a job with help. You are saying that NO minorities could possibly be qualified. Yes, we have DEI to help people likely to be turned down based solely on race. However, this does not mean they are not qualified. And it does not mean that every person of color was hired to fulfill that quota. Acting like it is, dismisses the hard work and abilities of the individual.

Because we as Black Americans have been trained that Republicans are for the rich people and they are racists while Democrats are for the poor people. It is a known fact that Black folks just vote Democrat because that is what we are told by our parents to do or because that is what our parents did. To even dare to voice a difference in voting would be a big deal (it could get us disowned by family and friends, called and treated like a sell-out, and our black card revoked). It's a shame that our community acts this way internally but that is how it is. So some Black Americans that might not agree with the Democratic Party keep it to themselves (especially in settings like this one).
