Of all the native Americans, I know… Most of them were Redskins fans. For obvious reasons. Or chiefs. They’d love when teams use them as the mascot. It’s a way to honor them. They don’t look at it as offensive. The only people that do are white women.

This is what the term “redskin” actually means in history:
“In the debate over the meaning of the word "redskin", team supporters frequently cite a paper by Ives Goddard, a Smithsonian Institution senior linguist and curator emeritus, who asserts that the term was a direct translation of words used by Native Americans to refer to themselves and was benign in its original meaning.[36]”
It was created by Native Americans and if they want the name back, they should have the team change the name back. The people who objected for years are non native Americans and most native Americans were offended when the team changed the name and logo because you are essentially erasing their identity and history.
