Your videos have always been lovely but you are getting more creative and I love watching you improve and grow. Your children are just beautiful, your home is so inviting and your smiling faces are so sweet. The milk made me laugh. My mother in law made my father in law a chocolate cake when they first got married. She was so proud of it and after his first bite he poured milk over it. She was so upset, but it was just the way he was raised, dry cake is better with milk. She improved her baking and he always teased her about her cake not needing milk this time. Now, I'm sure that's not why your family does it but watching brought back that wonderful memory of her telling the story and I miss him so. Its sunny today...and cold. I think I will go bake this. I have some spelt flour in the freezer. May our Father continue to richly bless you. ❤

Always lovely to visit with you. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia, which is a shame. We I was growing up they always had Harvest Festival where we decorated our church, however that doesn’t happen now a days. Im not really sure why. Maybe where we live now, people don’t grow their own food much. We live in town on a small block now but we still have most of our back yard covered in veggie gardens and I now have a chicken coop with 4 hens. We love having our own fresh eggs. In Canada, we celebrated it in October. I must say, I never seen milk get poured on cake before! My mother in law use to butter her cake and I thought that was strange 😝

I think I will make that tomorrow, as I have all the ingredients and it looks delicious. I wonder have you ever put a few chopped walnuts in the bars if you make them? The cake is absolutely luscious looking. I can taste it from here. I love Philadelphia cream cheese frosting as well........I'm getting my taste buds warmed up for that first bite......like heaven......so so wonderful. I am not sure about that, almond flour has a very different texture. You might want to Search for a pumpkin cake recipe with almond flour and then look at my recipe and kind of compare.
