Can you tell me where the half inch measure on the saddles began and what brought it on

Really like your videos. Cockroaches will also eat the outside of leather treated with any natural oil, or tallow. So annoying. I add a few drops of citronella oil in neatsfoot oil, to repel cockies, and mice, rats. It works well.

What oil do you recommend to use if mice like olive oil?

Pure neatsfoot oil is a great option

I have heard guys recommend peanut oil. Do you have an opinion on that?

I have never used it but I am sure it would be good. Just remember the mouse deal. They like any kind of food product.
