The story of three girls’ rise to fame, STAR’s second season ended with CARLOTTA (Queen Latifah), ALEX (Ryan Destiny), SIMONE (Brittany O’Grady), DEREK (Quincy Brown), COTTON (Amiyah Scott) and CASSIE’s (Brandy Norwood) lives in jeopardy. Carlotta had been named the head of A&R for Midtown Sound, but her world came crashing down after learning Cassie killed JAHIL (Benjamin Bratt). When Carlotta confronted Cassie, guns were drawn and one went off. Meanwhile, Alex, Cotton and Derek each were on a flight to New York when a news report revealed that a plane had crashed - with no one knowing who survived. Season Three picks up three months later, as STAR (Jude Demorest) returns home from touring, and Alex and Simone’s fates are finally answered.

Star was speaking straight facts. She was there for everyone else but when she needed help everyone turned there back on her. So they shouldn't have gotten mad
How did anyone ever turn there back on Star though? Star's problem is she wants to be the center of attention 100% of the time, and that's just not how life works.
@@wbfanatic4eva yes she wanted to be center of attention but all her antics was to boost the group. Ever since season one she has had a chance to go solo but every time she has said no for the group, so yes they turned her back on her
@@sky_nicole1962 and everything Alex did was for the group. She never said she wanted to go solo, so saying they turned their backs on her is just not a true statement. The group fell apart because Star was jealous of the attention that Alex was getting. But Alex was only doing the stuff she was for the group. It was never about going solo.... So once again how did they turn their backs on her? At this point in the show they were still a group.
@@wbfanatic4eva they are a group because they have to be Alex IS going solo, and Simone is going off doing her activism for immigrants. Star is the only one that has been there for everyone, she was there for Noah and his drinking problem and he tossed her aside for Alex. She was there for Simone every step of the way and she turned her back on her sister when Star was just looking for what she thought was best for her. Alex just slowly turned her back on her, Alex was late for a show and at the last minute Star stepped in because the show must go on and Alex slapped her for it and Simone did nothing. So they all turned her back on her.

Star turned her back on them by going on tour by herself and that's the real tea. They never turned their backs on her, she just does not want to see the whole picture, she only sees her side of things...
