@@milestone_achiever4634 Sure, but they're trailer pushers. Rear wheel drive. During a turn you'll get slightly different traction on your inside and outside wheels. The operator's back end kicked out because he was essentially jackknifing the turn. Normally for us it's the back end kicks inward (curbside) while we're servicing stops. A buddy of mine totally wiped out a bus shelter this winter.

FYI, the Q111, 113 and 114 all travel from Jamaica to far Rockaway. One of them is a limited route.
Quite frankly by this point in time there should be no more limited bus service on this route as many of them have converted to Select Bus Service.
Hopefully as time goes on both New Flyer and Nova will advance their drive systems on the artics to handle better in these types of weather conditions.
These buses are still being built with the same outdated and useless drive systems.
Long live the Neoplan AN460 Transliner. The best articulated bus ever to operate in the snow.
I was very fortunate to have witnessed them in the snow on Beeline and they blew all the other artics out the frame. I'm pretty sure Jersey's AN459s handled snow extremely well.
