Loved the water catching tray to put around the faucet and the divided snack container. Will definitely order those. I am constantly wiping the area after using it since the water accumulates...Thank you so much. My daughter has the over the sink tray and it's so helpful.
I'm not a huge fan of assorted kitchen gadgets so when we rennovated our kitchen a couple years ago we added pullout drawers in our cupboards. They save time and are super easy amd convenient. I also have all of my spices in a drawer. I lay them flat in rows and organized them with the same jars and labels. Again super easy and convenient to find, plus helps cut down on spices you actually use. Thanks for listing that over the sink strainer I just bought one!

I am not in the market for any kitchen gadgets. I feel like I can do whatever I want with the tools I have on hand already. But there were a few items in this video that, I admit, are tempting. One thing I know I will not have to purchase any time in the future are mixing bowls. Mine don't have fancy lids like the ones you demonstrated, but they do have sentimental value that outweighs any feature like that. I inherited mine from my grandmother when she passed. They are stainless steel and they nest together nicely so they don't take up a lot of room. My grandma bought them sometime in the 1950s or 60s, no one is certain. When she passed, of course the family went through her stuff and divvied everything up. I got a LOT of her kitchen items. Now, every time I use them I think of her, and the time we spent preparing family dinners together. I already know that my daughters are not interested in my kitchen gear, so I am hoping that some of my grandchildren will get into cooking and have a desire to use their great great grandma's equipment.

Have you used PVC bag clips (alligator clips) perfect for clamping down half used packets of coffee, frozen food bags etc etc , they are around 100mm in length, a real time saver 👍👍👍

I’m sorry to hear that that has happened for you. I haven’t had that problem, but it could be an issue with the bags. Maybe if the lip on the bags are not big enough they don’t have enough traction to hold. I hope this makes sense and thank you so much for a positive comment🙌🏼
I wonder in the handle on your hand-held stainer can sit over the divide in your sink? Then it could be a handless strainer while it drains and you could use the handle when you pick it up again. Also, don't throw away those gorgeous bowls that break on the bottom! Find a suitable-sized rock to cover most of the hole when it's filled with potting soil and plant on your patio/deck.
That’s a great tip for a bowl that is no longer useful in the kitchen! Thank you so much for sharing that and yes, the strainer could work in the sink 🙌🏼
Fyi: you are going to want to leave the sticky baskets when you move. The sticky material when pulled off the inside of your cabinets will absolutely destroy the inside of the cabinet. It will pull the fake wood sticker right off with it. If you want to avoid this you will need a bottle of undu adhesive remover. Applied carefully and slowly you can remove the sticker without destroying the cabinet. No other adhesive remover works like undu.
Note on the watermelon slicer - you have to be careful with the size watermelon you buy. Most that I find are too big for the slicer leaving it not usable.

FYI: Never pour boiling water down your sink. Always run cold water and slowly drain your pot. Your better off using a strainer that goes in the pot and then you just lift the strainer and noodles out of the water all at once. I love mine!

Great ideas. Thank you for sharing. As for container storage, I switched to Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids. They all nestle together and the lids latch together on top, and the lids fit many different sizes so you don't have all of this chaos. Instead, you have a stack or two of containers with their lids on top, and you can dedicate the rest of the space to something else. 💕

Really appreciate your tips. Btw...soak your fruit in a bowl of 8 c. Water, 1c. Vinegar and 1 t.baking soda for 5 min. Drain and store. I was amazed by how long my fruit lasts now!

FYI: Never pour boiling water down your sink. Always run cold water and slowly drain your pot. Your better off using a strainer that goes in the pot and then you just lift the strainer and noodles out of the water all at once. I love mine!
Why is that? Ive been pouring boiling water down the sink my whole life and Im 65 years old. I do it, my mom did it and everyone I know does it.

Great ideas. Thank you for sharing. As for container storage, I switched to Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids. They all nestle together and the lids latch together on top, and the lids fit many different sizes so you don't have all of this chaos. Instead, you have a stack or two of containers with their lids on top, and you can dedicate the rest of the space to something else. 💕

Really appreciate your tips. Btw...soak your fruit in a bowl of 8 c. Water, 1c. Vinegar and 1 t.baking soda for 5 min. Drain and store. I was amazed by how long my fruit lasts now!

Same! It never occurred to me to remove the lids and store them separately.
