About the movie
Screen adaptation of the novel by Natalia Alexandrova.
Katya, Zhanna and Irina are resilient friends of Balzac age. There are no secrets between them for a long time, they are used to trusting each other and helping in any trouble. They don't have to look for trouble, trouble finds them.
Having met in a cafe, the friends pay attention to a strange couple at the next table: a woman secretly hands an envelope to a man. And a few minutes later they see the same man shot dead in the toilet on the floor. Before the arrival of the police, Katya managed not only to leave her fingerprints on the gun, but also to grab the deceased's envelope with money and photographs. And now our girls have no choice but to investigate this case themselves, until Katya is imprisoned for murder.
The victim turned out to be a private detective who blackmailed those whom he was hired to follow and received money from them for silence. Having raised his latest cases, the friends are trying to find out which of the victims of the blackmailer was most afraid of being exposed.

Экранизация романа Натальи Александровой.
Катя, Жанна и Ирина - неунывающие подруги бальзаковского возраста. Секретов между ними давно нет, они привыкли все поверять друг другу и помогать в любой беде. Им не надо искать неприятности, неприятности их сами находят.
Встретившись в кафе, подруги обращают внимание на странную пару за соседним столом: женщина тайно передает мужчине конверт. А несколько минут спустя они видят в туалете на полу того самого мужчину застреленным. До приезда полиции Катя успела не только оставить свои отпечатки на пистолете, но и прихватить конверт покойника с деньгами и фотографиями. И теперь нашим девушкам больше ничего не остается, кроме как самим расследовать это дело, пока Катю не посадили за убийство.
Убитым оказался частный сыщик, который шантажировал тех, за кем его нанимали следить, и получал от них деньги за молчание. Подняв его последние дела, подруги пытаются узнать, кто из жертв шантажиста больше всех боялся разоблачения.

I really enjoy the Russian films and TV series with English subtitles they're so good.
My favorite part is at 51:19, when Zhanna's suggestion gives Ira the clue and they all scream successively! This is me whenever I have an epiphany after problem solving - it happens several times a day. I love the three women - Ira is a mathematician with a great intellect, Katya has photographic memory, and Zhanna is a daring lawyer with great courage and scheming plans. Together they make the perfect team and they have a great friendship. #squadgoals
hope to see rest of the series with same three ladies.
