    Really nice work. I love to see care taken with the fish to ensure their not beat to pieces on the deck. You can’t believe the number of fishers that get a good quality fish, and then knock the quality down with gaffs, walking on fish, banging gear on them etc..
    If I could find a way to purchase your fish I would! Keep up the great work.

    • @EISAlaska
      @EISAlaska  3 года назад +1

      Main reason is that we can usually get them unstuck, a weaker line on the weight would make it easier to recover the setup, but for how often we bottom fish and hang up it would be like losing 5$ a pop. Its something we have considered doing before. Thanks for the comment David.

      Hi Tracy. We see them along the beach and hillsides occasionally when out fishing. They also come into town looking for food and come through our yard once in awhile. Here is one we caught on camera last year. twitter.com/EISAlaska/status/1359581355638616066/photo/1

    Is it usually the last weight that gets snagged?

      Yea most times, if the edge is tall it'll be probably a few hooks as well, those are the tough one to get un-snagged.

      Mostly the different sea bottom, rockfish are on hard and rocky, while cod prefer gravel and sandy.
