You should check out a translation of the lyrics for this. Quite beautiful as well. Apparently The HU celebrated the release of this song by donating something like 12,000 trees to be planted in their homeland.

Seeing as I've been listening to Central Asian music for decades, I heard of them when they were relatively new; I liked their music, but the first songs I found were very nationalist - I think they're just very old traditional songs
The other side of the Mongol coin is A Sound, who do songs in English as well as Mongolian; the first of which I heard is a cover of " As My Guitar Gently Weeps "
