Public Land OTC Colorado Archery Elk Hunt | MONSTER Bull | EP. 2

September 11th of 2022, we ran into an absolute monster of a bull on public land in an OTC unit! This bull is big for a reason. He definitely knew his ways around hunters that's for sure! I sure hope he survives the oncoming rifle seasons and hopefully we'll run into each other again. To this day he's still lingering in my mind. Enjoy!

The way to kill that bull is cow calls. As soon as he hears your bugles he is moving his ladies away from any competition. Go act like your a lonely cow that got left behind and he will come looking

We had limited time to go after him that day. Other wise we would have dropped down to look for him. And yes, cow calls are great in scenarios like this. We were just trying to pinpoint him so we knew if we had time to go after him or not.
