It's wonderful how both before and after the athletes jump, the viewer is not allowed to see the athlete's legs. I'm sure their legs aren't muscular at all, so it would just be boring to see a whole athlete and be able to grasp how she does the jump with her entire body. I'm so glad the camera cuts out the legs. That's really intell8igent.

Even if they meet with a failure they still can show you their shining talent. In my next life I would seek to marry a beautiful performer like those I'm looking at. I love the way when before the athletes jump, the camera cuts them off at the waste so that we can's see their legs. And then the zoom lens is so cool, it gets close to the athletes when they're jumping so that we can's see the athletes in relation to the pole or the ground. That's just marvelous. I love camera work that makes the camera operator feel important, but ruins it for the viewer. Did it ever occur to the camera operator not to use the zoom lens, so that the viewer could see the whole athlete and the whole jump in relation to the pole, the ground, and the bar?

american here, can people from around the world explain to me how people get into pole vaulting? like do they pitch this and recruit kids in school, are these sports talked about more often in other countries, etc?
They are all hard-working gifted athletes the fact that they are attractive is a bonus try standing on the top of a 10ft ladder never mind trying to vault over it with a 10ft pole they are hard workers and talented
