- Well, this is a remix I keep putting off, so I just sat down and decided to finish it. Acoustic Brony and Mandopony's "Loyalty" is definitely one of my favorite songs of all time, so I HAD to remix it. Instead of trying to make something epic and evolving out of it, like I originally planned, I decided to take a funky electronica direction with it. It's NOTHING like the original, but I kind of like it that way. I've never really done anything like this, so it was fun to experiment. xD Some of you are going to hate it, I know, but just know that this isn't my usual style!

It's just like me right now. I'm here very recently.
Acousticbrony, Mandopony, Aviators, Alex S (Andromulus), TheLivingTombstone, Sim Geritina, MetalCorePony, PrinceWhatever, BronyDanceParty, Ken Ashkorp, WoodenToaster, etc... made some of the most memorable music for many people and even following afterwards with the other content paving way for the new generation because of their creativity

I really miss the good old days of the fandom back in 2012 - 2014 when the most amazing music based off of MLP was made. I became a brony in late 2013 or early 2014... And I truly miss those times of amazing music. MLP fan music isn't flourishing anymore :/ I really wish the fan made music would pop up again, but I doubt the music will be anything good like the stuff made in the years mentioned previously... :/ I wish I could reverse time, go back to 2010, and become a brony around the release of MLP so I wouldn't have missed the production of anything. I know that it's all on RUclips, but it's just not the same anymore. :( who here agrees?
+ronnocs29 i agree, all the brony music they're making nowadays are just cheap remixes of old songs. I too go on yt and listen to some of the older songs, but it's not the same.

+ronnocs29 I kind of agree, I became a brony at the beginning of 2013 and I am very sad I missed some of the richest times of this fandom but I disagree that it isn't flourishing anymore; I think the novelty has worn off and so now whenever a song or artist that would have been showered with praise in 2011-2013 shows up they are not an instant success. I think that perhaps people feel discouraged from making music because people, like you, are no longer looking for it. That is't bad, if you feel like your need for MLP fan music is filled and you no longer want more, regardless of the quality, that is ok, I am not trying to blame but I think that when everything turns in to an eco chamber of "I miss the good old days." and "I doubt the music will be anything good like the stuff made in 2012" everyone, even those with with the fire of passion still in them start to believe it and it moves from some people's opinion to perceived fact.
It's definitely disappointing that most of the brony musicians moved on almost exclusively to other things. I enjoy their newer music, but it's as if the fandom has had its fill of MLP-inspired music. I think there was a good Equestria Daily article a while back that explained how the music scene just wasn't able to sustain itself. Black Gryph0n and Michelle Creber (who is actually a voice actress on the show) are still going strong, but almost nobody else gets any attention. I'm saving up for my first guitar at the moment and I would love to eventually write MLP originals once my skills have grown enough, but the golden age is over.

The lyrics helped me to remind me of what's important in the show... and the lyric "A lot has happened, but I'll stay by your side" helped me to accept the Twilight Alicorn thing.. This song has helped me accomplish a great deal.

I find it amazing that until I became a brony, I'd never been exposed to electronic music that I liked - then suddenly, all this stuff on youtube has become my absolute favourite music. It's not even just because of being pony related: the music actually appeals to my tastes much more than any other electronic stuff.

I like this remix, I really do; all of Aviator's stuff that I've heard is very good. However (this is just my opinion) there are two reasons why I prefer the original.
First of all, this version lacks the drive of the original. The two can be considered to be the same tempo, depending on how you look at it, but the original has a groove that gives the impression of the tempo of that one being twice that of this version. I respect that basic idea; it gives this version a definite unique feel, but I personally prefer the driving feel of the original version. The groove here definitely suits its genre, but I guess I just prefer the hard-rock tempo and groove that the original verison had.
The other thing is the pre-chorus ("Give me a smidge of confidence / Give me a speck of something that makes sense...") starts on a different chord than the original, going back to the root instead of the fourth (I think?) that the original used. Both work - as evidenced by this verison, which I feel compelled to point out again that I DO like - but I think that going back to the root resolves it too much, while the original built tension throughout the pre-chorus by going to the fourth and not immediately resolving tension that was never given the chance to be built up.
All that being said, this is a very good song in its own right; taken on its own, separate from the original, I would even say that this is one of my favourite songs to ever some out of the Brony fandom. However, in my mind, the original will always be superior.
20% Cooler would do nothing for this already perfect remix.

You have no idea how much I love this song. The lyrics fit better with a more relaxed tune and I have a soft spot for electronic music, so for me it's spot on. Do make more of these!

It's likely because recording companies use 'formulas' to obtain music that will be most likely to sell a lot. They no longer care about talent or content, as long as it sells. Here, there's nobody catering to anybody's desires besides the artists' own interests. This music is made not to sell, but because these people enjoy making it, and like how it sounds. That is why you will find more real music here than on the radio.
