Could you talk about exactly what challenges you faced as a beginner legal assistant? I’m at this odd stage where I’m realizing there are soo many features of Word that I was unaware of. Watching other assistants breeze through features and knowing every shortcut is pretty discouraging. Also, what was our level of experience when you first started and overall what was the biggest challenge?

The first 6 months were overwhelming and it always felt like I was always playing “catch up” haha, but know that it’s completely normal to feel that way and give yourself grace as you learn ❤ I was a legal intern before, but this was my first experience working for a law firm. I did have previous admin experience, but not in the legal field.
